I had the previous version of the TP 199 knee guard and after 10+ years of riding, racing and snowmobiling with them they are getting pretty worn out. The new version is even better. Hopefully they last as long.They are a bit warmer as they wrap around completely but they stay put and I don’t even notice them after the first turn.

Very comfortable. I have big thighs and so it’s hard to find comfortable pads. They also stay up nicely.

I got a pair of the L/XL knee pads at the end of the October 2019. After 2 months of wear, I came home and removed my knee pads when I noticed the right one was tore apart right at the seam below the logo. It looks like when it was sewn the top piece of fabric wasn't down far enough just catching the edge of it with the thread. I contacted EVS customer support about the issue with some pictures. They were very quick to respond even around the holidays, and sent me a new pair of pads without question, or even making me return the old pads.The pads them self are very comfortable, and provide nice protection without feeling bulky like some other pads. My only complaints would be that they are rather warm, and the fabric bunched up around the back of the knee slightly. A slight cut out would definitely be nice, but not a deal breaker for me at all. Overall I would purchase them again, thanks EVS for the great support!

definitely a bit bulky but protects really well! A pain to get on and off but fits secure and does not move around like so many. I had for years and liked the earlier neoprene versions of these pastrana guards, something in between the bulk of the two would be nice but I hate ones that slide down and move as you ride, these dont. One hint, there is a small piece of fabric inside that connects the upper outer part to the inner and i eventually cut that, it caused a roll and they fit even better since....

Had Leatt’s before but they dug into the inside of my knees so I switch to that’s based on a recommendation. They’re really comfortable and I forget they’re there when I’m riding. I have thick thighs so I cut the sleeve out that comes on the inside (really only need it if you need compression) and they still work great for protecting against impact.

I ordered these thinking they were more slim line to fit under my Oxford motorcycle jeans that are not that tight and have room for knee pads but the EVS guards are too large. They fit under my Klim ADV pants sp not am issue but I will agree with others that they are a bit uncomfortable on long rides with the knee bent and can get hot and sweaty underneath.They seem really meant for standing as there is bulk behind the knee when sitting. They are well constructed and the concept is a good one just need to be refined on the next version IMHO.
