The grains are clean and cook up nicely with a pleasant, nutty flavor and chewy texture. It's a fantastic gluten-free alternative to other whole grains.I've used it in salads, soups, and even popped it like popcorn for a healthy snack. Tasty and Nutritious Grain
I like that they're organic. Very good and easy to cook in a rice cooker, and the nutrition is top notch. This will be one of my main grains going forward.

Instead of Brown Rice Option
I was looking for a change from Brown Rice. I was reading about Sorghum and decided to give it a try. I typically prepare my rice in my Instant Pot, so looked for a recipe that utilized the Instant Pot for comparison. Like brown rice, I found the sorghum has it's own distinctive taste. I can't say I like it better but instead believe it is a comparable option. It takes longer to prepare Sorghum, 45 minutes cook time in the instant pot, versus 21 minutes for brown rice, but just means starting the process about an 1 1/2 hours vs about an hour. So if you're looking for a change give it a try and see what you think.

Good product quality and tasting, Organic
I have used this Company before and so far they have sold good products. This Sorgum is good tasting to me and good quality. It is a bit unique of a grain and you have to adjust the water to the level you like in cooking it. Still great product, always fresh.

great organic product. Did you know it has 10 Grams of protein per cup?
It's the highest protein grain there is. I add it to my salad at dinner.

Best brand for organic sorghum
I've order this product several times and have also tried organic sorghum from other companies and this is by far the best, fluffiest, tastiest of all I have had. Great in soups, salads, and egg dishes. Never gets mushy or dry. Love the nutty flavor. It is always important to sort and rinse sorghum. I have found tiny pebbles and also once a little, curled up worm (it was dead, of course). But that also can happen with beans and lentils. As long as you rinse and sort, you can't go wrong. Use 1 cup sorghum to 3 cups water, add to a pan and turn the heat up high. Once it comes to a rolling boil turn down to simmer and put a lid on it. Check back in an hour. Once the water is absorbed, it is ready. Enjoy!

Very poor for popping, bad quality
My low rating is for how this sorghum popped and tasted compared to other sorghums I’ve used in the past. My usual suppliers were out of stock, so I tried this one and was very dissatisfied. The sorghum popped terribly and didn’t taste good. I’ve popped sorghum for years and have never had sorghum pop so poorly. I recommend minipops or justpoppin for a better quality sorghum. That is an unbiased recommendation as those two companies compete with each other.

Not Great for Popping
I bought this as a substitute for pop corn. It doesn't even come close. The taste is okay but it only pops about 30% and the kernels are very small. I tried it in a pan and with an air popper.
