The wax melter is cheaply made and it's difficult to adjust the temperature but otherwise the set is worth it.

I was very excited to start making candles again. I have bought other kits before, but this one had flower petal molds so I chose this one. I made some candles for my sister's birthday but I forgot to give it to her, so I burned one of them to test it out. The wick burned very quickly and burned all the way down to the top of the candle. I tried the other candle. Same thing, I'm almost certain they are all the same. What kind of wicks are these? Now I have to buy more wicks. I will not buy your product again.

This is wonderful for beginners. It not only had the basics of what you need to make candles, including the melter, which is very important, it also had labels and containers and gloves all kinds of goodies. I also love that it had dry flowers in there and some dyes and even since that can be used for making these candles or if you wanna try to use them for other purposes, it’s great for that too Love this set!
