Hand-Built: Those wheels are built by hand and the spokes are fully extended by pushing machine. So the spokes will not be extended anymore after a few rides. This step is very important to make sure the wheels are always true.WTB STP i25 Tubeless compatible wheelset, NOT Includes Tape and Presta Valves,Wheel Size: 29", Hubs: Novatec Front Hub D481SBT, Rear Hub D482TSBT, Quick Release, 8,9,10,11 Speed compatibleInternal Rim Width: 25mm, Rim Size Designation: 25-559Continental X-king Foldable Tire 29 x 2.2

Best bang for your buck, hubs and wheels, X-King tires so-so.
The Novatec Hubs appear to be a very good quality product, fit and finish and quality control are excellent. Bearings are super smooth and wheels rotate freely. I'm impressed with the Novatec hubs that may rival Shimano equivalent hubs. Are they durable? I see no reason why not, only time will tell. The WTB I-25s rims are bomb proof. The wheels arrived slightly out of true, fixed them in about 10 minutes. I attribute that to the delivery process, the tires were flat offering no cushion from impacts. The rims come wrapped with Stan’s Tubeless tape, unlike what the product description reads, tape is included. All you need are valves and fluid for a tubeless set up.The included continental tires, X-King 2.2, are in my opinion, subpar for this quality wheel set. I would prefer the seller not include this cheap tires, they are of slimmer width and not tubeless ready. I ripped the continentals off, and installed WTB rangers TCS ready tires for an easy tubeless set up.

Maybe your luck will be better than mine.
Box came damaged (has before with my previous wheel set) not worried. I remove the wheels from the box and noticed that there are two bent spokes on the front wheel (I live in the middle of nowhere and returning is quite a hassle for me), I was still optimistic about whether these were gonna workout for me. I mounted my cassette and new disc rotors, aired up the tires to equal psi for now and gave em a spin. The front tire with bent spokes is true as anything. The rear wheel is not. It will need to be trued by a bike shop (which the closest one to me is 90 miles) and whatever they're gonna charge me, plus gas and time to get there and back. I know that next time I will not be buying these from this seller again. Also, package was delivered a day late after a 4 day delivery time. Good times. I give two stars as after my time and money invested... Still a decent deal and they seem pretty solid.

Did not hold up after 1 year
I’ve had the wheel for a little over a year. Not an aggressive rider, but ride Mtn single track often. 6’1” 230.Both rims have stayed true. Last month notice 7 inch long cracks around the wheel just below spokes.WTB was responsive, but only warranties the rim, no the whole wheel. It costs 75/hr to re-lace the wheel with my original parts with new rim. That’s what I paid for a new wheel so the new rim seems a mute point. So if you plan to ride hard or bigger rider, move on from these and get a beefier option.

Happy with them so far
I was skeptical that a wheelset at this price could be worthwhile, but I took the chance because the components seemed solid. I've only got one ride in so far, and that was mostly on pavement, but the wheels held up well to bouncing off curbs and my clumsy bunny hopping. The rims are lighter than my cheap OEM ones. It amazed me how long the front wheel will spin on its own, so the bearings seem good.I will note that the rear wheel needed a bit of truing when it arrived. Given the price point, you could take it to a shop and pay for a truing and still come out way ahead of most wheelsets.I can't comment on the tires. I swapped in my old tires that I like and were not worn out yet, but the tires that came with the wheels look okay. I had thoughts of trying to sell them, but I might hold on to them for when I wear out my existing ones.It remains to be seen how they will hold up in the long run, but my initial impression is very good.Update Jul 18, 2018: I've now had quite a few rides on these wheels and I am still loving them. The bearings remain super smooth, they've stayed true, and they've held up to all of the abuse I've given them (including several crashes...). I should note that I'm 250+ geared up to ride, so I'm not gentle on components. One extremely minor gripe is that I had some creaking out of the rear wheel while pedaling, but a drop of chain lube at all of the spoke-rim interfaces took care of it. My only regret is that I tolerated my heavy, barely functional old wheels for as long as I did.

Great value
After about 60 miles of hard fast trails and a decent amount of rocks, happy I bought these. Not a lot of options for wheel sets for 29ers without thru axles anymore. Trashed my rear hub and needed to make a move. This made more sense than rebuilding my rear wheel which wasn’t in all that great shape to begin with. Bought a returned set so got rim tape and tubes as an added bonus in the box. Really wish they were a little cheaper and didn’t come with the tires as I don’t want those. Setup with 29x2.25 Nobby Nics which were a huge PIA to get on the rim. Running tubes for now as it’s fall and any minute spent fixing the bike is a minute lost on the trail but the tires really lock into the rim so will prob setup tubeless later. (Plus i got free tubes in the box . Neither rims were precisely true off the bat but not to the point of it being a problem. Rear one could have been a little stiffer as it seem to flex into the frame occasionally when blasting through rock sections. Overall they are breaking in well. Happy with the purchase. For the price, 5 stars seems worthy despite the minor flaws

Easy to set up tubeless!
I folded my original 19mm rims. I ordered these the same day. 2 days later I was rolling again. I converted to tubeless using Gorilla tape and tubeless valve stems. After adding sealant, I managed to seat the beads with a floor pump. They hold tight. No burping after 300 miles. I had Continental 2.0 RaceKings mated to the original wheels, the 2.2 X-Kings are noticeably better on singletrack.

Very budget friendly
Building up a budget build bike for a friend, read reviews and decided for the price this would be choice to try. Where arrived in a sturdy box, taped up with tubeless tape similar to stans notubes (yellow) tape. Tear needed a little truing, front was true out of the box, added tubeless tires, sealant, and valve stem. Holds air, setup easily, includes skewers. Ridden by a 200+lb rider and no issues.

Not as advertised!!
I just received this wheelset today and notice upon setting them up that the tires are not the Black Chili compound, ProTection series tires that are advertised, as I know that those tires are only made in Germany and the tires I received are made in China!! I am not even sure what level of quality these tires are. I am hoping that the seller will change the false advertising that is in the description. Other than that I haven't quite got to using the wheelset and being able to comment on the overall quality of the wheelset. Here's hoping!

Good product but you will need to own a spoke wrench.
Delivery was on time. Item is overall of good quality and matches description however wheel build is not great. Spoke tension not what it should be and wheels weren't perfectly true.
