This brand was recommended to me by a good friend with a few very happy and healthy orchids. The bark has both larger chunks and smaller bits which, I think, mimic the natural environment of the orchid, making the roots happy. Since I repotted my phalaenopsis, he's been doing well! No complaints, so far.

Perfect for orchids!
I like orchids very much and have very good luck with them. I use the plastic slotted planters which allow very good drainage and air flow. It is so important to let them breathe. I put the orchid in the planter and then use the orchid filler to fill the planter. Then I water the whole thing to make sure the orchid mixture has soaked u water. Voila!!Then wait for beautiful blooms.
