Perfect….
Love this radio headset, helped 100% with hearing the radio over the loud racecars I photograph. Also loved being able to hook my cell phone to them with headphone jack so I can hear when my crew working my print booth gets a special request, so I don’t have constantly check my phone for missed messages and missing those amazing photos cause of it. Currently debating picking up a second set for my print booth crew to wear and 2 new rugged radios to complete the set since they worked so well.Made my job as the Tri-states only paralyzed dirt track racing Photographer 50% Easier.

Decent pair of headsets
This is a decent pare of headsets. The comfort has a bit to be desired but they aren't bad. People have commented on the sound not being loud enough. So this is a technical issue. If you buy these you will most certainly have to buy an intercom if you wish to talk to others. You will have to do some trial and error but I was able to finally dial it in that I could hear sufficiently my wife who is a very soft spoken person over the roar of indy and Nascar. Try and control the volume through the intercom seemed to work out better. I never had any issues hearing my scanner. Other than that it is a quality headset. No issues with drop out or cut signal. You will have to buy adapting cables more than likely.

Pretty good set
First, turn your radio set to max then adjust the volume on the headset. Need slightly better mic noise canceling, but I use these in the oil field in-between frac pumps. The ear cushions could be softer as mine feel really stiff. Other than that I think they are a really good set. Interchangeable cords for repairs or different radio brands.

Dissatisfied & Disappointed
I would give it 5 stars if purchased a headset. Because I purchased this for the mic function, I would give it 0 stars. The mic has no gain control. The audio input is -40 dB when compared to other headsets of lesser quality. Thought could be the 5 pin cable, nope.
