Very sturdy and does great on my desk in my work truck

I'm giving this unit 5 stars. It is very well made and very sturdy! There is a bit of a wobble when hitting bumps but that's to be expected. I have one mounted in my Camper Van, and in my work van.

A MUST READ! Well.. within SIX MONTHS of purchasing this mount the arm completely snapped off from the base while I was driving causing my phone to fall and the screen to crack. Within SIX MONTHS! I wouldn't recommend this item to anyone. Luckily I have insurance on my phone but I still had to pay the deductible.I attempted to give the seller the benefit of the doubt, along with Amazon and assumed they would stand by their craftsmanship and replace the item but NOPE they basically told me to go F myself. I'm a Prime member and have been so for a very very long time.First Amazon assured me it would be taken care of and it wouldn't take more than 48 hours. After a WEEK passed, I reached back out and after a bunch of apologies they told me give them another 48 hours. Four days later they told me they got in contact with the manufacturer and aside of them replacing the product they would issue me a $20 credit for my inconvenience.How about NONE of that happened. Lies and unkempt promises across the board from Amazon and this seller.Once this company has your money they give you their @ss to kiss. Aside of that it caused damage to my $1200 phone. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT UNLESS YOU HAVE PHONE INSURANCE THAT COVERS DAMAGE FROM FALLING. It is poorly made with cheap material and is clearly only made to last until the return window has expired. There are too many other options to buy then to take a chance here and potentially damage your very expensive phone or tablet.Terrible product and an equally terrible customer service experience from Amazon.

Works great for my use case

Used to hold a Microsoft surface while I data logged. Spring part broke when I was putting in the tablet last time. I didn't think I was overstressing the part, but could have been my fault.
