I've lost count of griddle pans and electric griddles I've got through. This is really good, the fan works to cut down the smoke, the food takes a little longer to cook than in a hot griddle pan but the absence of all the smoke and spitting fat makes up for it. Have cooked several good steaks, burgers also peppers I found they needed a bit of spray oil and mushrooms aren't quite the same due to lack of fat but actually very tasty. Easy to clean. One word or warning its much bigger than I realised even though I knew measurements, its quite bulky, takes up one of those deep pan drawers all to itself........One year on and two things to mention, I put the heat insulation plate in dishwasher a few times but then it turned black which came off on hands, ok now after few hand washes but still blackish. Also I noticed it smelt of stale fat despite wiping over where I could reach, I noticed you can slide back cover off like a battery cover and remove fan, loads of goo and fat all around it and I managed to clean the blades of fan to some extent, hopefully this will stop stale fat smell

Very good wee barbecue. I used it in an apartment and there was no smoke even with the fan turned off. Cooked super fast, easy to clean, doesn't take much space. As good if kor better than the wee Tefal I used to have.

Very easy to clean. No heating up time. Very pleased with it.

No smoke , or verry little, if you use the ventilation function.Easy to clean.Cooks chicken, pork, burger, simple, or marinated.Meat is suculent and the taste is so good.I did not try the vegetables yet.I will buy again.Good size for 2-3 people

It is convenient and wonderful , you could enjoy your food in any condition and even bad weather. I love it. It is not smoke less. But great.

I am really disappointed for what I paid and what I get. The machine made with all plastic apart from heating pipe and grill plate. The base, collecting tray are all plastic and the surface are rough and not even neat. It has a cheap look. I don’t think it will even last long. Temperature adjusting button look fragile. I can probably use a few time. The machine only worth £40 top. Apart from that grilling is fine.

Doesn't establish enough heat to cook evenly. I thought I must be doing something wrong because of all the positive reviews. I have checked youtube clips of this thing being used and yes, I was using it correctly. Given up on it.
