Best Bluetooth Earpiece Ever - Great Price
This is by far the best Bluetooth ear piece headset I have ever owned. I drive an older Camaro stick shift and the CD player doesn't have Bluetooth capabilities. I also design and maintain websites, often talking to customers while typing, so a Bluetooth is a daily must have item for me. While it's called Explorer 55 on the Amazon site, the Plantronics site lists it as their Explorer 50. Whatever the name, I love it. And the $25.00 is a bargain for this gem.I find devices with the round earbuds/earpads to be uncomfortable and they always feel as if they're about to fall out. The design of this earbud is perfect and do much more comfortable than the round ear pieces, and it also feels more secure. This is the 3rd Plantronics I've had and I purchase them specifically for the shape of the earbud. This one even beats out the Voyager and the Legend 330 I've had in the past, due to affordability and features. I had concerns about the plastic ear hook being to brittle or uncomfortable, but it's neither... very comfortable and appears sturdy too.I recommend taking a few minutes to read the owner's manual to familiarize yourself with the 3 buttons instead of wasting time like I did and not even realizing there were 3 buttons at first when trying to wing the set up. After I read the instructions, set up was a breeze. It paired perfectly with my Android Galaxy 9 and my Mazda 6 communications system. Calls are crisp and clear and I love being hands free while working with clients by phone. I also love that when I first put this in and turn it on, it lets me know exactly how much talk time is left.TIP: I have the unfortunate tendency to regularly misplace my Bluetooth devices and have wasted lots of time searching my purse, car, house, etc. for them. Here's a life hack I created that's been working great for me: I purchased a glasses cord for a dollar in color I would notice and slid one end around the ear hook, then tightened it (I took off the other rubber end of the cord and add a bead from my craft box). The colorful cord makes this so much easier to spot in my purse, my car, and among the piles of junk where I tend to set this when I take it off.I highly recommend this product!

Best Bluetooth & still using after 5+ years
Yeesh! Great sound, quality, easy to use & still works. I bought this 5+ years ago and wish I could get another that's not a bad knock off. Don't even notice it in my ear.

Fantastic. Extremely Reliable.
The sound is quite good, have never had quality issues with an "underwater" sound like I have with my super expensive pods. It has the excellent ear hook that helps hold it in place - has never dropped off my ear, like others, and has comfy adjustable ear pads. Easily paired up with both of my phones. The talk time for me lasts all day through 10 hours of assorted and conference calls. I do keep two on hand so that I don't have to wait for charge time. They are inexpensive enough to get two. I even bought some for my employees for hands-free use in the car and ease when we need to text and talk simultaneously.

They’re good. I keep buying them.
These are pretty good little headsets. Especially for the price. My problem is finding them, or not losing them. I wish they had a noise setting to locate them like the Garmin watches, or at least a Bluetooth signal strength indicator. (The actual signal while in the middle of a call is LOS, but for usually around 70’) As for the noise cancellation, two things that give my listeners particular problems are wind and pots and pans. Traffic passing you can also be a bit much, but all in all a great headset for the money. Just not Sena level noise cancellation. They’re comfortable. The volume has like 5 or 6 levels that adjusts quickly and easily. The charge lasts for 11 hours of talk time. A2DP seems to drain it faster if you use it for music, which also fuzzes out sometimes depending on what side of your body your phone is and how you turn your head. They fully charge in about an hour/ hour and a half and the standby lasts if I remember correctly close to a month. Pretty impressive. All in all, a good little earpiece. Got them for my whole family. Everyone said they didn’t need them. You talk and can use your hands and do other things while your phone is charging. Now we all go crazy and it ruins your day when we actually have to hold our phones up like days of yore…

Going Strong for Years
I've had this earpiece for about 3 1/2 years at the time of this review. I use it primarily for work as I need to take calls while either continuing to work, or walking through a busy work room floor. The battery life is much better than wireless earbuds, and has held up to a handful of drops no problem. It's nice and lightweight. I've never had any complaints about being able to hear me, even in a loud environment. The buttons and controls are easy to use (I usually just use it to answer and hang up on calls). The glue on the rubber piece that goes in your ear did give out eventually, but that was after 2 1/2 years of use and I just used a small amount of super glue to put it back on. I'm seeing a small amount of battery degradation after using it and charging at least 5 days a week for the past 3 years. It still makes it through a full day of work and the only time I have any issues is if I end up trying to listen to music the whole day. If this ever does give out, or the battery ever does lose it's effectiveness, I'll likely buy this same one or at least a similar Plantronics.
