Does this humidifier turn off when it reaches desired Humidity?

There is no setting for a preset humidity percentage. It has a low medium and high setting and when the water tank emptied it flashes to let you know I have been running it on high and it lasts a little more than 24 hours the advertisement of 101 hours is obviously for the low setting. That being said it works very well and I love the fact that it fills from the top.

Does it use a filter?

Does it have an automatic shutoff?
