Very sturdy and well made.
The media could not be loaded. Very nice drum set for my great nephew for a Christmas present. The drum set is very sturdy and well made. The sound is very good, just like a more expensive drum set. He got the blue set. My nephew loves it. It's not too small and he can grow into it. He is 3. I would highly recommend this set. The drum heads are sturdy.

Nice first toddler set
I bought the red set. It is a beautiful color. The sound is great. It was easy to put together with good directions. The sticks are cheap but it’s for a toddler so I think that’s fine. Wonderful starter set for a toddler!

AWESOME SET!!!
This is a Christmas present for my 2 yr old that is OBSESSED with drums. I put it together by myself early to make sure all the parts were there (they are) and nothing was wrong (nothing is). I spent hours on many different sites checking reviews for all the different kids' drum sets and this one didn't have any reviews BUT it was the only one that didn't have a ton of bad reviews- so I bought with high hopes. I was NOT disappointed! The drums are all wood and metal, the height of pretty much everything is adjustable. Two of the drums you have to put the skins on yourself and, at first glance, they really seem like some cheap dinky plastic, but once I got them on and tightened down I was pleased. With the support legs the set is sturdy, I jiggled it and wiggled it around and it didn't topple or lean at all. I'm confident it will not fall on my child. I have 2 reasons this did not get a perfect 5 stars 1- no matter how much you tighten the top drums on the metal pole they still pivot. I can just imagine my daughter moving them around causing them to bang into each other. And 2- there are NO instructions for putting them together and not all the parts are labeled. HOWEVER I managed to get the whole thing put together in 30-45 mins by myself and I have absolutely no experience with drums, their basic set up or anything. It is a drawback but any reasonable person with some common sense can get everything put together just fine. I do wish there were some kind of guide to say how much to tighten the skins down on the drums, I was worried I would do it too tight and bust them (didn't happen, just go slow). This set hasn't been tested by my monster yet but I'm not having any worries about how it will hold up and I will update after she's used them a while. I highly recommend this set to anyone who is looking for a decent, more serious drum set for their child!

Overbuilt and Incredibly Durable
This pic isn’t pretty, but it displays the most overbuilt and rugged drum set ever made for a 3-year-old. This pic was taken after my 3-year-old nephew’s mother--carrying a 50 lbs. Christmas tree--tripped and tumbled on to and over the drum set. What’s the big deal, you ask?Well, let me tell you. His mother is no spring chicken (hence the trip and tumble), and I can say there was, even for a moment, a combined 400 lbs. of flesh and synthetic tree on this set as she displayed her less than Olympic front flip over it. If you look at the picture, there’s not a scratch or dent. His mother? Well, that’s another story. If this were an ultimate fighting cage, she lost, and the drum set would be raising its sticks with a “flawless victory.”This product is meant for kids 3 and older. It clearly doesn’t need to be a human kid. Best Choice Products, indeed! My nephew absolutely loves banging his sticks to his heart’s content on this set. But that’s beside the point. If this set can look this pristine after months of him “playing on it” and his mother using it as a trampoline, then it’s obvious you’re in for years of use and great memories.

Missing drum key
It's a nice drum set and my son LOVES it but we didn't receive the drum key which made the assembly process difficult. Ended up having to buy a drum key separately.

Perfect play kit for a 4 yr old
Bought this basic drum kit to encourage a love of music in our 4 year old nephew. He might outgrow it in a couple of years, but for someone who's just starting to explore the world of musical instruments - this is perfect. It's clearly a basic kit (sans hi-hat, actual snare), but it is built surprisingly well especially at this price point. Looks great and he's having a blast with it. If you have a budding, young musician this would be a great starter kit.
