I was looking for a retro-style alarm clock for my nightstand as I try to move away from relying on my phone to wake up — and this one fits the bill perfectly. I really like the classic look, and it has just the right features without unnecessary extras.One small but thoughtful touch: tapping the snooze button lights up the clock face, which is great for checking the time at night without being too bright. I also appreciate that the alarm starts off gently and gradually increases in volume, so it’s not an abrupt jolt awake.It’s exactly what I expected — no frills, no surprises, and that’s what I wanted. Just as described my husband wanted a basic clock on his night stand one that wasn’t complicated to operate since we old fogies are technically challenged & this is perfect for his needs, the price was reasonable also he’s quite happy with it & so far it’s keeping perfect time..

I have had for 6 months, but one hand inside the case is slightly off. So, the time us of a few minutes. But hey it's not a Rolex. It is plastic but the silver color almost looks like metal. It gets the job done. I ordered again in a different color.

Nice battery operated clock for when the power goes out. Easy to see and operate.

I wanted to love this. Other reviews complain of the size, for me the size is great and the light up feature works great. Easy to see in the dark when needed. The major issue is the second hand makes this rapid fire (I will admit, it is VERY quiet, but there) sound all night long.My other analog clock is still in my room and even being across the room, the original clock is significantly louder, but the sound is a peaceful tick, tock similar to a metronome and I never even noticed it or was bothered by it. This one, with its extremely rapid grind sound, and even though its quieter, it's just unsettling to me.Its also about the cheapest feeling plastic item in hand that I have ever probably purchased. Which wouldn't even be an issue for me if it weren't for the sound. If you don't want a low pitched extremely quick, tat, tat, tat, tat, tat, tat, tat, tat, tat, tat, tat, by your ear all now, pass on this one.

Just the color I wanted. Bought 2, one for each side of our king size bed. Highly recommend.
