Works just as it should. Add water up to water fill line. Add E85 up to gasoline fill line. Shake well. Watch it separate out for a very visible percentage line.

Item came just as described. Tested the e85 at my local 76 gas station and it came out purer than I expected. 86% e85

Needed a little tester to keep around the car just in case im flipping to my E85 tune. Had a bad gas situation so now I knew i needed to test a pump before filling up so I don't grenade the engine. This little tester is pretty accurate and compact. Fill to water line then gas line. Give a good shake and then let it do its work. For sure id buy again if something happened to it.

Does the job and is very easy to read with well marked fill lines and ethanol percentage. It is not designed to be filled at the gas pump so you will need to fill another container with a fuel sample. I've found that a plastic baby bottle works well to collect a fuel sample at the pump, the opening is large enough for gas pump nozzle to fit into. Then use a funnel to fill the test kit bottle. The test process is a PITA, having to mess with collecting a sample and then disposing of the tainted fuel. I plan on adding an inline ethanol sensor/gauge to my car soon.

Read a report that someone testing their ethanol free gas used this to check the gas they were using. It came up NOT ethanol free. I wanted to check the Maverik Post Fall Idaho ethanol free premium gasoline. Using this tester I confirmed Maverik ethanol free gasoline truly was ethanol free. I put their gas in my 2005 Chevy SSR with the 6.0 ltr LS2 with a Magnuson supercharger. Not a good vehicle to drive a snowing streets, therefore it spends winter in the garage. Ethanol breaks down.

Yeah, they sell gas with MORE than 10 percent ethanol. Use this to find the best gas station to fuel up.

Good thing to have if you’re into performance and use e85 as your fuel
