Great for our use
We use these headsets with our walkie-talkie radios for our video production team in church. They are comfortable and allow you to hear even when the house sound is loud. Great value and quality. I would buy again. I would recommend if you need an over the ear system to communicate in a loud setting.

It is the customer service that adds so much value
Previously after using this headphone I made a negative comment. I assure you that while I was ultimately unable to adapt these to my walkie Talkie with this ear phones there is no better service I have found anywhere with any Amazon Purchase. I retract my negative comment, fully. This seller has communicated better, more effective;y and more respectful (even after my initial negative comment). I give this seller 5 + stars. I know that somethings by one manufacturer do not always work with those of another. This seller has guided me to learn so much about my units and his ear phones and I feel he deserves credit for his determination to make me happy. YES I will buy from this seller again. I assure buyers that this seller will make you happy.

Rating based on price
So rating as 20 dollar head phones. From a perspective as an audio engineer we ussualy get 125 dollar head phones for those recording and about 200 for mixing. Head phones from the store that are 20-60 dollars sound like a box. Fine for voice but hard to hear lacking in detail. So for a head phone to hit the market that is shipped for 20 with a mic, they have to find ways to cut cost. Its worth every penny but not a lot of pennies to go around. Their might be uses for some people. If sound quality and durability is important, it hese cost money. So i got these and cheaper two way radios for running sound and lights and talking to the other staff. What i learned is the things you stick in your ear were better as they cut out other sounds. The sound is boxy. Good for voice. And my radio are not loud. But i could not use these. However someone with a school play that is quit might.Mine had issues were it did not connect with one of the radios but the ear piece did. I mostly got these to practice communication in theater to make a better buying decision. So decent of these is 80-150 and seems like that all inclusive radio and phones is like 500 plus. Im about to toss mine away. But it may be a good buy for someoneJust know that a lot of stuff on this site is from china and not real stuff from the original manufacturer. Like good quality but tools that bend. And their for some stuff will break so you are not taking a chance. For me its been fifty fifty.

Plasticky, but workable headphones for a fraction of the cost
I didn't want to spend $100 for headphones for my UV-5R, so I gave these a shot. They work, I can hear pretty loudly from both earpieces, and the reported mic audio form the headset I'm told is no worse or better than the UV-5R's built-in mic. So for the few times I expect to need it, I think these'll do fine.In packing they seem to have got bent, so the let ear is tucked under a bit more than the right ear, which makes for an odd fit. Since these are hard plastic, and the head arc is baked into the plastic, there's little I can do except try and bed it the opposite way to straighten it out. The boom mic swings up out of the way just fine, and is bendable in all directions.Overall, the build fits the price- you're not getting $100 worth fo headphones for $20, but it does what it needs to do and cost me a fraction of the price of a "ham" headset.

Keep moving not worth the money
So I received this headset and was excited, now my wife and kids don't have to tell at me to lower my scanner. Then..reality hit. I plugged it into my radio, turn up the volume and soon volume was on high. What's the problem? I could CLEARY hear everything around me ,the wife, the kids...this headset was so low that my t.v set on 5 volume drowned the scanner. I was having clear conversation with my wife while this was on full volume .the fit was no good doesn't cup your ears therefore you hear everything around you. I definitely while return them and get something better.
