The Retevis RT22 Two Way Radio Twin Pack has been an absolute hit in our neighborhood! I originally got these to keep track of my kids when they play outside, and they have far exceeded expectations in terms of range and performance. Very Durable, used between the rooms to wake up kids, to find out where they are quickly, to come down to eat or other events, out cruise trip was full of fun with this 4 device camouflage color ones that we brought. Was a nice fit for the trip during visiting islands. There was not a moment to lose sight. The signal was able to break through up to 10 floors in the ship's iron walls. charged it at night and never had an issue. will keep using it for future trips. communication was effective and clear. Programming was easy and not displaying would hide it from other 's views.

Did lots of comparison before ordering these. I wanted a good set for a decent price and these really delivered. Great quality sound & range seems good too. Kids & adults are enjoying them. Will use for hikes and biking as well as fun for the kids year round. Very impressed so far

I really like these little radios, but there are some caveats for the general buyer I should hasten to add. First and most important: these radios are configured by default with CTCSS or DCS squelch codes on EVERY CHANNEL. Yes, they are using the standard FRS 1-16 channels, but if you want to be able to use these with any other radios, they will need to be configured to use those same codes for a given channel. For example: you hand these radios out to family/friends and you can all talk to each other just fine. If someone else uses a Motorola Talkabout (or anything else) they will hear your transmissions but you won't hear theirs...unless they add the same codes to their radios. For me, this was not a problem. I'm an Amateur Radio Operator (HAM) and I already program my other handheld radios. The Baofeng standard USB cable and the free CHIRP software works perfectly to configure these. I therefore removed all the squelch codes except for channel 16 (in case there's a bad RF situation) and these now work with all our FRS radios. The radios themselves seem decently rugged and idiot-proof. Simple controls and bright orange color means these will be good for deploying to almost anyone, and harder to lose. Range is OK. audio is just OK (mic as heard on other radios and audio out via speaker) during lots of different testing scenarios. These are NOT Motorola Talkabout equivilent, but they are a great deal for the around $10/radio that I paid for them. The USB-C recharge port is a great feature, and the beltclip holder seems very nice. If you don't need field programmability and you want a simple, easy to deploy radio, these are great, as long as you realize they won't work with other radios as delivered.

They are not. I'm in the deep forest and I am amazed at how well they work - was not expecting this. Crystal clear, great for car to car as well.

Nice clean audio over a long distance

Works amazingly! At first they wouldn't connect, but after charging them everything works great! I have no issues. In addition, they are definitely durable and are a good size! The battery life last quite a while. It took over a week or two of working 4 8hr shifts a week to need to be charged. I highly recommend these!

These are great! My son and I can communicate while skiing. The range is better than I was expecting and the battery lasts all day. The only drawback is that you can’t tell how much battery is left before it dies.

Todo funciona muy bien. Lo utilicé para un viaje con mi familia y podíamos comunicarnos entre autos a una distancia aproximada de 1.5 km o 2 como máximo y en lugares donde no haya mucha interferencia. Se escuchan bien, la batería dura sin problema y son pequeños. Lo recomiendo totalmente.

En la teoría es un buen producto, es la primera ocasión que los utilizo en mi trabajo y pues fue muy útil para trabajar en alturas y a una distancia considerable para comunicarme con los compañeros, yo diría que están bien

Tienen buen alcance y se ven resistentes, lo único a lo que no le veo resistencia es al cargador, todo lo demás bien.
