Nicin successfully lowers colestoral, maybe ypu need some.
Niacin is an important supplement for a lot of reasons, which you probably already know if you take Niacin. What makes this particular brand great is: #1. It can be hard to find 1,000 mg tablets. #2. You get 300 captabs for only $25.00, that's the best price I've found anywhere. #3. (For me only, I don't know about you) It doesn't make me flush, which makes your face look and feel sunburned, for a short period of time. I mentioned this because some people do get flushed, report severe reactions, and discomfort in arms and legs. That has never happened to me, so I don't know anything about it.

Great product, value for money, excellent
For the folks complaining about hot flushing/burning sensation to face, neck and shoulder.I take a small (81mg) aspirin along with my dinner then after 30 minutes pop the 2000 mg Nicain tablets, no flushing. Also keep yourself well hydrated to eliminate flushing. This medicine is very cost effective and I get it much cheaper than using my workplace insurance

Very successful in lowering cholesterol
As a 76 year old with familial high cholesterol, I have used this product about 15 years, along with two other family members who have also kept their laboratory results within normal ranges using this product. Niacin acts by dilating the blood vessels which can cause flushing, and Rugby Niacin has a time release tablet which delivers the niacin slowly over time, so the body eventually adjusts and flushes become minimal or disappear. My doctor is happy with the results and I have not experienced the problematic symptoms found with use of the chemical cholesterol medications. The size of the tablets in high doses is large but I have no problem swallowing them, and the tablets are smaller in lesser doses. Rugby has been a reliable pharmaceutical, and is extremely cost effective for those who use niacin to control cholesterol.Amazon's 3-pack is a great convenience.

Flush
Flushing on some pills are not consistent. Some days, flushing and itching are immediate. Other days, they are all at once a few hours later.

Above and beyond pleased in every way
This was the brand my pharmacist ordered for me originally, so I ordered it at a higher dose in a 3-pack. I’ve discovered niacin is important for many deficiency-caused ailments, so I’m really pleased to to have my doctor take me off my blood pressure meds, cholesterol is normal and I’m no longer achy and stiff in all my joints at 68. This was less then half what I paid for 1 bottle of half the dose. I am very pleased with the price, delivery was faster than predicted.

treat my high cholesterol
good price, little big pill, only need to take one twice a day. so overall not a bad deal May say timed release, but it's not. I did get the flushing but last 45-60 minutes..Taken niacin for so long don't think will be a problem. Once my system get used to the niacin the flushing will stop. so even with the minor flushing I'll still take the niacin.

which does not release fast enough to do any good for cholesterol reduction and is NOT recommended for that ...
Timed release Niacin is getting hard to find in local stores. Stores have replaced it with the "flush-free" hexainosinate, which does not release fast enough to do any good for cholesterol reduction and is NOT recommended for that purpose. People are being fooled. Timed release functions like the prescription drug "Niaspan" and also reduces flushing compared to free niacin. A recent FDA report said that niacin does not produce additional cholesterol reduction in people who are also taking a statin drug. This report has been misinterpreted in the media as meaning that niacin does not work at all. Niacin does still work in those not on a statin, but who get regular exercise, and watch their diet. Thanks for providing this drug at a reasonable price.
