Where would we be without our tiny hand-vacuums??
I'm going to give this vacuum 5-stars but man do I miss my old Lithium Black & Decker one that died on me. The prices went up so much post-Covid that I didn't think the Lithium model was worth it anymore though. My only knock on this one is that you can accidentally bump the nozzle off while cleaning; just have to be cautious if you don't want have to clean up your whole mess a second time.

Great and powerful little vacuum!
I couldn't be happier with my purchase of this vacuum! Great suction for a portable/cordless unit that is solidly built. Has a flip down brush built in which is perfect for lampshades. Also has a built in extendable nozzle for tight spaces. The suction is powerful enough for use in cleaning up cars, etc. Very easy to dump and filter is washable. Sits on a recharging base so it is always ready for use. We have 3 dogs and this handy little unit has really made a difference in keeping our home and cars tidy without having to drag out our big upright vacuum!! Black and Decker deserves a round of applause for the design of this vacuum!

Good suction, decent battery life
Pretty good product. The suction is very good, but not as good with the brush down. The battery doesn't last for an extremely long time (due to the strength of suction), but is long enough to clean my car or boat, or edge clean my house.

This vac has great strength
I use this hand held vacuum to clean dog hair out of my car and do other cleanups when pulling my large vacuum out of the closet is too much. This one is light weight but strong and easy to handle

10 years of daily use and still running strong!
This is our second platinum dustbuster and the first one we purchased is 10 years old and still running! We actually bought a second one to keep in a different part of the house. We have a small bunny and this is the most important cleaning tool we have and we use it daily. It picks up hair, small straggler droppings, and pieces of hay with ease keeping his pen super clean. The extending nozzle is great so you don't have to lean down, but sometimes it slides back in as there's no locking mechanism... Minor complaint and putting a little bit of tape around it, keeps it from sliding on its own. The newer dustbuster doesn't have this problem, only our 10 year old one does.We even bring this vacuum on roadtrips with us when we travel with our bun. We don't bother bringing the charger as the battery lasts long enough for quick tidy up cleanings for even a week long trip. The best part is the charging dock. When there's a mess, just grab it and use it and when you're done, plop it back down on the charger. No cables to plug or unplug unlike some other models.

Piece of junk!
I spent a *long* time reading reviews of dustbusters, and finally chose this one because it has a lot of power, battery life, and space to hold dirt. But it turned out to be a big disappointment. I am sending it back.I bought this dustbuster to vacuum our car and our minivan. The day it arrived, I took it out of the package and turned it on. I liked that the battery was already charged. But I was startled by the VERY LOUD NOISE that this dustbuster makes. It seems loud enough to cause hearing damage. And because you hold the dustbuster with your hand as you are using it, there is no way to get your ears far enough away from the vacuum to get the noise down to a bearable level.I took the dustbuster to my car and started vacuuming. Despite the loud noise, the suction was not nearly as good as I had expected -- I had to go back over the carpet again and again to get junk to be sucked up. I got through vacuuming only three seats before a blue light started flashing and the dustbuster stopped working. I figure that either it overheated or the battery was low. So I set it down on its charger, to recharge.A few days later, I tried it again, this time in my minivan -- which is used by kids and had a *lot* of tracked in dirt and other crud. This time, the vacuum had much worse suction than the first time I used it. But that day one of the first things I had vacuumed up with it was a tissue that a kid had left behind. So I emptied the vacuum, fished out the tissue, and tried again. Now the suction was better, but this time I got through only two seats before the battery conked out. And it was still WAY TOO LOUD!!!!! I figured that maybe the tissue had overloaded the vacuum and used up the battery too quickly. So I put it back on the charger again, planning to give it one more try.A few days later, I took the dustbuster back to the minivan to finish the job. This time suction was okay, though not great -- not at all like the video on Amazon where the popcorn goes flying into the dustbuster. I got through vacuuming almost all of the rest of the minivan -- when the black front half of the dustbuster popped off. I wasn't abusing it or anything -- just vacuuming the minivan. I tried re-attaching the front half of the vacuum. But every time I snapped it back on, it fell right off again. It doesn't stay attached anymore. So after three fairly short vacuuming sessions, this dustbuster is toast. If the front half won't stay on, I can't vacuum anything with this. So, sadly, I am sending it back to Amazon.Overall, it felt like this vacuum was designed by a committee. The rotating nozzle (the part that fell off) doesn't really seem necessary, since you can easily just rotate the whole dustbuster. I like the way the attachments are permanently attached. But the brush nozzle only has bristles around the top and sides, not the bottom, which is where I'd need bristles the most, so it wasn't very effective. And, during my third vacuuming session, the brush nozzle fell off!! I had to reattach it. That's two different parts that fell off when they were not supposed to.Overall:Pros:* It is easy to empty out the dirt.Cons:* LOUD LOUD LOUD!!!* Pieces fall off.* Charge doesn't seem to last long.* Brush has bristles only on three sides.* Not enough suction.* Fell apart into un-usability on the third time I used it.
