Works as Expected
Connecting a small red LED (typically lower voltage/amperage compared to other colors), I was able to get it to light with a simple spin of the rotor with my fingers. Of course, it spins down quickly (as expected since angular momentum is quite low), so it's just a quick flash, but bright enough nonetheless. The LED I happened to use is rated 2.0-2.2 volts, and I connected this LED to my bench power supply and noted I could get it to begin lighting up at 1.6V, and at 2.0V it only drew about 9mA. Added a pulley and placed a rubber band around it and my power drill and was able to get it to light steadily with steady rotation of the drill. So, works as expected; recommended product.

Perfect replacement motor for 5 volt angel snow globe lantern.
This motor is a perfect, and correct speed replacement for our 5 volt angel snow globe lantern. I did have to trim the shaft a little with my Dremel tool to get the correct fitment. I just did the replacement today, so we'll have to see about durability, but I expect it will be comparable to the original.

Nice but little torque.
Would be 5 stars because they fit my use case perfectly, however, they have very little torque starting up even when geared down.

Apparently more common than I realized.
Took a chance on these to replace a Christmas decoration (skating rink with magnets that pull figurines in skating pattern). The motor on the unit went bad and I thought I'd never be able to find a replacement but these looked identical and performed exactly like the motor it replaced. Apparently, many china made products use these motors. Saved me from throwing away a 100.00 item that is no longer available!

Good little motors.
Use them for STEM experiments.

Drop in Replacement for Partylite snow globe
These motors are a drop-in replacement for our PartyLite snow globe. The shaft was a little long but so I trimmed it with my Dremel.

Great Motors for Science Projects
I've used these for wobble battle bots in our CAD and 3D printing class and for solar cars. I plan many more projects with these affordable, versatile motors.Thes only issue I ran into in soldering the thin wire to other components. It is very thin. Once I got the hang of it, it went well though.

They don’t work as specified
My company purchased 2 lots of these motors. The first was a test lot of 6 motors. They worked for our classroom windmill application beautifully! They required low RPM to light an LED. We then ordered 180 additional motors. The part number was the same as the first lot, and they looked the same on the outside, but the motors functioned completely differently. They were high RPM motors with only 2 ohm resistance, vs the 55 ohm low RPM motors that we needed. We returned the 180 motors to Amazon for a refund and received an apology from Topoox. We are still looking for motors like the first lot, but Topoox has not been responsive. Don’t buy these motors since as of a few weeks ago they did not match the product description.
