I purchased the NOW Foods Probiotic-10, 50 Billion, 50 Vcapsfrom Now Foods.I have been dealing with gastrointestinal issues for a while and my doctor suggested to take a Probiotic daily to create good flora in my stomach.I did a lot of research before selecting this brand and in my research this brand has all the strains that you need. Many other brands have some of these strains but not all and as comprehensive as this one. I have noticed a difference as I have been taking these for over a year now and my gastro issues have really quieted down.These are a great price compared to others and a high potency is what you really need. If you struggle with diarrhea or constipation give these a try I think you might be surprised.I do keep mine refrigerated to increase longevity and I know that some people were worried because it says to keep refrigerated and they send these products non-refrigerated. I switched to this product because I needed something more potent since I have Celiac Disease. I used to take 2-20 billion CFUs a day, which was a pain and expensive (my husband takes the same dose). I still had a lot of constipation during certain times of my cycle. So I found these gems and love that they have a lot of bacteria strands and are high in CFUs. As soon as we started taking this product, irregularity was a thing in the past! I no longer deal with constipation and have a BM everyday. I have more energy, my acne is better, constipation is no problem, and haven't felt bloated in a very long time. Eating a clean diet has helped with these symptoms, too! Since I've been taking probiotics, my immune system has been extremely rock solid. It is a pain that you have to keep these in the fridge, but totally worth the benefits!

These probiotics have been a godsend to me. After a month long course of a triple antibiotic regimen, pregnancy, and two stomach viruses, I had a series of GI issues. Initially I struggled with upper GI problems (chronic nausea, reflux) which over the next 12 months progressed to chronic IBS symptoms. Some days were so bad I was terrified to leave the house. I ended up having an endoscopy, a CT scan, and every other test imaginable because I had lost a tremendous amount of weight. I was loosely diagnosed with IBS and sent on my way. The symptoms were so debilitating I was starting to get depressed. Finally I started researching probiotic supplements and after 6 more months of trying various different products with no success, I cam across this one. Within a week I could leave the house without stressing. Within a month I was able to eat most foods again (I had to restrict my diet pretty extensively because my stomach could not handle much). Within three months I finally started getting my energy back (probably because I was finally absorbing what I ate). I will say that the whole process took a lot of trial and error, and while one probiotic might work for one person, another might not work for you. There's a lot to be discovered about the specific types of imbalances, and it's difficult to pinpoint exactly what combination of bacterial strains will work for you. But for what it's worth, I would give this product a million stars if I could.

I had an infection a year ago for which I was given antibiotics, and stupidly never took probiotics after. This type was recommended to me. I've had good experience with NOW brand in general, at least with their Vitamin D noticably raising my blood levels of Vitamin D.I was afraid that this bottle would be dead on arrival, bc it doesn't come refrigerated or cold - and it took two weeks to come (in spring 2018 - I guess it's lucky that this year it's still going down to 40 dregrees F at night where I live, even in late April.) Anyway, once I got these I put them in the fridge and have been taking one a day on an empty stomach...how do I know something is happening? There has been a sudden onset of gas - every single day (I've been taking them for about a week or two). I know the cause doesn't have to do with anything else, bc I haven't changed my diet or anything else. Luckily I work for myself, from home - but the increase has been so sudden that I had to google "probiotics farting" (go to quora and type in "Why have I started farting a lot after taking probiotics?") and sure enough saw that there is a connection. So these are definitely not dead and are doing their thing. I expect as my body adjusts the gas will go down - and I'm very happy to know that they are working.
