Splurge for the name brand
Tweezerman is a great brand that's been around for years. These are super sharp and work really really well. "My hobbies include cuticle care and E network" -legally blonde. If that's you then you need a high quality nipper at a great price point. Check out the tweezerman website or call them to inquire about free sharpening if in the future they dull out at all.

Excellent quality
Tweezerman products never disappoint! Worth every penny. Long lasting, too. The only reason I had to replace mine is because they were confiscated at an airport in South America while traveling.

I like it!
Sharp tweezers with a narrow working blade. Works great! For small women's hands.

Great quality, super sharp, feels good in hand
Decided to forgo nails salon after many underwhelming experiences in the past few years, and discovered that I'm better at doing my own nails! To that end I wanted to upgrade my generic cuticle clipper which was blunt and difficult to use. I don't have thick cuticles overall but these clippers help for the little 'bits' that occasionally emerge from the sides, and I mainly use these to clean up the skin around my toenails. Unlike my old clippers, these are sharp and the angles are great for getting in there without cutting other delicate skin. I love the quality of my Tweezerman eyebrow tweezers, which is why I paid the higher price for these, and they are well worth it for the sharpness and accuracy.

very short handles - only good for a person with small hands
The nippers are sharp and well made but the handle is short and very uncomfortable to use. Probably it would be ok for a person with very small hands. This was noted in other reviews but sadly I did not read them until now.

Edit: [used to be the] Best clippers out there
Now: while the trimmers are very sharp, the spring on these just isn’t good enough. Quickly, the metal looses its spring. Instead of keeping the trimmers open, the spring does almost nothing. I physically have to open up the trimmer before each cut. Its resting position is just barely open as you can see in the second picture.I have purchased several of these and can say with confidence that the quality has gone down considerably. This issue with the spring is not an outlier. It’s now a common issue for the model.Original post 3 years ago: I absolute love the tweezerman trimmers. They are very sharp and precise - far more than anything else out there that I’ve tried. And I’ve tried a lot of these kinds of trimmers. Nothing comes close. Be careful, they are very sharp so you could hurt yourself more easily than with a generic or Revlon set - but that’s a natural consequence of having such good blades. I think they are hand filed/sharpened to get a great fit and sharp blade. Highly recommend

Love the option to repair!
I have bought several of these over the years, as I pick my cuticles unless I tend to them daily. They work GREAT -- the handle and thing in the middle keeps things really steady, especially compared to cheaper options. With such frequent use, they eventually become dull or misaligned. I sent them back to the manufacturer and they really did repair them and send them back!

Don’t re-open before oiling
The media could not be loaded. My previous tweezerman cuticle nippers were great and lasted years, never had probelm. These are supposed to self-open. As you can see, that’s not the case. This one was just taken out of the box. I gave three stars because I shouldn’t have to oil the joint myself to fix it. It’s working as intended after I poured oil on the front joint. I’m sure I’ll have to re-oil it at some point.
