I could not sit up after I had my 5th child and nursing was made more difficult than usual because of it. This pillow made it so I could sit up for the first time in about 1 1/2 weeks. It is soft enough to be comfortable but firm enough to not totally collapse on you the only thing that came close to how much this helped was 5-7 blankets arranged in a donut shape on the couches. Used on couches, chairs, sitting up in bed, and the car. The cat was still slightly uncomfortable because of the motion but that happens after birth anyway.

Super comfortable. I am a small person, this worked perfectly. It's clearly going to take awhile for my tailbone to heal, so I'm buying a second one of these to keep in the car.

I am suffering from a rather rare tendonitis - High Hamstring Tendonitis, and it gives me horrific pain when I try to sit. I tried a specific pillow for ischal tuberosity pain and that did not work, so moved on to donut pillows. This one was a great price, well made, very comfy, but unfortunately did not fit my needs. I needed something with a slightly wider hole size so not to touch or put any pressure on any part of my sit bones. I ended up returning it, but it was a great pillow and if the size works for your needs get it!

I bought this for a bruised tailbone. While it does hurt to sit on, it gives me the most relief in the car and during periods where I’m sitting for an extended amount of time.

I never expected it to work so quickly, after one week the medical reason for using the donut pillow was corrected. I expected my dermatologist to write me an Rx when she told me to get a donut pillow I was surprised. Great for sitting or people who are in bed a lot. I had a total knee replacement so I was in bed for 2 weeks and then sitting a lot for 6 weeks. This pillow works.

I like all the things that don't really matter like it looks great, love the soft cover, like the cushion itself for the memory foam. I am using it because I have uterus prolapse. I want something I can use until I have surgery, but I am very disappointed.

Sometimes it's hard to get this thing positioned correctly under my rear end especially when driving. But when I do it has just the right amount of cushion. If you need more relief, you can stack two of them.
