Works well as intended good price
Works perfect for the price, i used an adapter for r1234yf along with this to use r134a in my car which is cheaper and worked well.

DIY and save some money!
June 2020 my 2006 Honda Accord was due for a state inspection and general service. As a long time Honda owner I have always be treated fairly by the local Honda service department. When I mentioned that the AC was not blowing cold there was a discussion about the time/cost of doing a proper service on the system. They suggested that I should try fixing the problem on my own. Bought this hose/gauge and sourced the R134a locally. The instructions are easy to follow and the AC was recharged in short order. I'm hoping that there are no leaks in the system; but so far, so good. Cost of the hose/gauge and 2 cans of R134a around $35. Let me add that I believe that I could have gotten away with using only one 12 oz. can. When I first checked the system pressure the needle was in the White (Low Pressure area). After using one can the needle was in the middle of the Green (about 25 psi). Thinking that I could top off the the system at the higher range of the Green I used a second can. The needle stayed in the middle of the Green. This suggests that the cans that I used had a maximum pressure of 25 psi. Therefore there was little concern of overcharging the system. Also, from my research and perhaps a bit of overkill I replaced the AC compressor relay; about $7. The 2006 Accord is the only car that I've owned long enough to require AC service. I mentioned my success to family and friends and offered the use of the hose/gauge should the need arise. I hope you find this review helpful; as so many have helped me in the past.

Quick and Easy to Use. Why did I suffer driving in the heat all these years??!!
I was a little skeptical at first about these DIY AC recharge kits, but we're having a heatwave here in CA and I figured it was worth a try, especially as I'm going to need to make multiple long trips in my truck this summer. My vehicle is a 2000 Toyota Tacoma, and has been without AC for probably 4 years. The short hoses wasn't too much of a concern for me as both the high and low AC ports are easily accessible. Sure enough, when I connected the device to the low pressure port, the pressure gauge showed it was at zero PSI. So, I figured it was going to take a couple of 12 oz cans of R-134a. But, I recharged it into the green zone within just a few seconds, and still have about 25% left in my first can. And the air coming out is nice and cool! I am quite happy with the results. I'm just kicking myself now for suffering in the heat for the last 4 years, because I dreaded paying a huge check to the AC charging mechanics. I suspect I have a small leak and I'll have to recharge it with a few months or maybe every year, but that's OK by me, given how little R-134a I used and how fast the recharge process was.

AC working back again.
The gauge is for low pressure side of the AC, so the visibly accurate range would be 10-60, 60 to 150 are unmarked and not scaled properly. I also feel like it should be a bit cheaper.

Just What I needed!
My AC was running a little hot so I wanted to check the freon levels. Going to the dealership would be way too costly. One of those cans of Freon costs anywhere between 40-80 dollars as well. I bought this tool for less than half that and checked my freon. It's pointless to buy freon if you don't need it. I was able to check my freon levels by simply attaching the end of the tool to the line and clamping it down. Easy to use, and my freon levels were good. Turns out I needed to change my coolant. Thank goodness I didn't go out and spend the money on freon when I didn't need it.
