Excellent replacement! Be careful when changing it out...
I have a 2014 Silverado High Country with less than 30,000 miles. Every now and then I'd catch a whiff of musty air when it was humid outside. I figured it'd be worth checking and replacing the cabin air filter. Doing so, I ended up finding out that at some point in the past, a mouse decided to try building a nest on top of my filter.Removing the original one was easy enough. Four T15 torx screws on the bottom glove box. Two on top and two on the bottom side. It should pop out with minimal effort. Once the glove box is out, there is a black honeycomb-like cover over the filter itself. There are two tabs at the top that you pop up and the cover comes off easily.***** THIS IS THE IMPORTANT PART *****Before you pull the filter out, find a thin piece of rigid cardboard that will hold its form. Cut out a chunk that is slightly longer and wider than the filter, and slide it UNDER the old filter. The reason being, when you pull out the old filter, any leaves or other debris on top of it will fall on the cardboard instead of in the blower fan like I had experienced. You can then vacuum out the debris from the top of the cardboard so it doesn't have a chance to fall down.Assuming you followed the above instructions, re-assembly was easy. Slide the new filter in with the air direction arrow facing downwards, replace the filter cover, re-install the glove box, and re-install the 4 T15 torx screws. If you didn't follow the instructions, you'll either need to reach your hand into the filter slot and remove the debris... (good luck).Or you'll have to remove the kick plate under the blower assembly (four 7mm hex screws), and remove the three T15 torx screws from the blower motor. You can pull the blower out, remove the debris, then work backwards to re-assemble. On a side note, one of the four 7mm hex screws on the kick plate is a major pain to remove. It is in the far right hand corner close to the firewall. Re-installation of said screw is even worse...

Not exactly a perfect fit.
I bought this filter based on the description as OEM. This replacement is longer that the original by 1.5 inches. I had to cut it off before it would fit properly. While not a big problem, Just know it is not an exact fit out of the box. Seems CF185 is a closer fit for my 2019 Silverado.

Excellent quality and great price
I ordered this for my 2015 Chevrolet Silverado truck. The truck is two years old and I never changed the filter. That was a mistake. Many people, such as my self, don't change cabin filters and once you remove your old filter, you'll never make that mistake again. All owners manuals give instructions on how to do this. Most all are behind the glove box. On my Silverado, you remove the four screws by the glovebox and it drops down and there is the compartment behind it. Unsnap the top, pull out the old, put in the new, screw it back on! Five minutes! Why pay someone $50 plus dollars? On my Equanox, it took three minutes. Both of these filters were filthy. My Silverado factory filter was identical to this AC Delco. The filter is very thick and that gives you more filtered air protection. Once you change it, you'll be shocked how fresh your car or truck smells and how much more air comes through the AC. This is a great quality filter at a great price. You are doing yourself a great injustice if you don't replace your cabin filter yearly. It's a small price for fresh air.
