Bought 2 by mistake loved it so much I just kept them
Great. I use it to hold 5amp batteries and charger. Interchanges well with all my other makita boxes.

I live them. They are all breaking on me.
I bought about 20 of these to organize an entire shop. They worked GREAT. But just a few years in and they are all failing in the exact same way. Just normally opening these boxes causes their thin plastic hinges to snap. It’s just not strong enough to go the distance. About a third of them are destroyed in this way, and no matter how careful I am I’m losing a few every month or two — all to the exact same break in the exact same place.I’m a HUGE fan of the brand and use their saws, drills, and power tools frequently, but these have been an expensive disappointment. It’s happening more frequently to the 3 and 4 boxes, but they are all affected.
