Just did my first haircut a few days ago with these clippers. It's heavier than my $40 Wahl clippers. Of course, it's new so the blade cuts through my hair so smoothly. Even with the partially metal attachments, it's so smooth.The taper lever is also very smooth. It's not "stepped" or "clicky" in any way. Just 100% smooth back and forth action for extra precise fades/lengths. Power button moves up and down, feels solid. Attachments have a bit of metal on them, which makes the clippers just glide through as it cuts, but there's only 3 attachments included. I ended up having to use my old clippers as well for the length I needed (but used the new one for the rest of my haircut).Sound level is actually not bad at all. It won't annoy you. It's not quiet, though. I expect it to stay that way for a while... since these clippers are very expensive. You're also able to replace these blades in the future. When it dulls, it pulls your hair.Battery seems nice so far. I used these for about 40 ish minutes and it did not get weakened. One last thing is that I believe these clippers are made in the USA (nice!).

These Wahl clippers are all metal cordless professional clippers. Excellent build quality and totally solid in every respect. These are similar to the cord type Magic Clip metal body clippers, but a little heavier so I needed a day of use to get used to them.Typical performance and quality for Wahl Pro clippers, work flawlessly and the battery life so far is quite good (I let them run continuously after a full charge to test and ran almost 2 hours). Come with Magic Clip blades but regular blades fit, all the hardware features of standard and fit combs, etc. perfectly.Once I got used to the weight, loved the precision feel. Wahl is great.Edit: Sorry, forgot to mention these can be zero-gapped by loosening the blade screws and aligning before re-tightening. After using for 1 week I love these clippers, great control, blades are precise.

I freaking love this thing, ive cut my own hair for 6 years and now I can fade like Sha'nana back in Nashville did. Started with a 20 dollar Whal, then an Oster for barbers, and now this Godzilla like machine (if you're trying to figure out what that means I think you need to be heavily intoxicated, then you'll realize you've made up all sorts of meanings, maybe all of them, so don't off yourself if you lose your job). The design is sleek, you get that weight and cold from the shimmering steel, turning it on w/o the power cable makes male teatosterone go through the roof (Will anyone at Amazon have my back if the FDA chases me down for fake medical stats? Theyre crazy so be careful, I mean you probably havent seen "love" on an ingredient list for a while, obviously people in general knew it was poetic, but the bright lights at the Food and Ding Ding admin are workin hard (yeah right,government employees don't work hard) to keep you safe, from love). You plug the cable in while operating if needed, great, then your back to old school manuevers, but allowing the internal circuitry to charge while operating is really cool. And the set of shark teeth it's rocking hmmmm, Lord, you could take it over to granny's and eat up a bunch of crap clothe chotzkis from the 80s that she keeps covered in plastic. Only thing I dont like about the whole package is the clipoer guard set, Whal, don't put out you're sexiest product and only throw 3 guards in, I'll adnit they're sexy too but just throw a dog a bone. When I spend top dollar for your product, I want the whole package. Thats why I hate steakhouses, the food is good, but the 44 buck steak on a plate with the swipe of demi is BS, just put the truffle fries and roasted corn pudding on without charging another 23 bucks. Cuz that's what I have to do now, but that set of clippers to conplete the package, but NO, not happening, I got a perfect set already that don't snap close but the magnets keep the guard stable.

I was pleasantly surprised when I receive this clipper. It is of very high quality, and it is completely new and unused. I found the clipper very easy to use and was able to give my son a crew cut right away with no difficulty. My only complaint is that the 3 guards that come with the set are the 3 smallest sizes: #1/2, #1, and #1-1/2. It would have been more useful if the 3 guards cover a wider range such as short, mid, and long.

Came in defective sent it back and never got my money back

have the plastic version, like the steel one way better, just on looks, it still cuts the same as the 5 star but looks way more pro when your doing it. little more weight, but lighter than a old style corded version. great clipper, one con still has plastic on/off switch and blade lever adjust <-- come on Wahl finish the package please! then you get 5 stars, all steel please, like the old school clippers.

I am a barber yes, I’ve used Babyliss, osters and different wahls. I read previous reviews of them being used. It has some specs of dirt on them but no hairs. Like any other clipper I’ve owned, I take them apart and clean them. They work fine, little pricey but the only place I could get them in a short amount of time and I think it was worth it. Just don’t forget to charge them before you turn them on :)
