Mounted by front door entrance/porch and works great. Actually found out that the high setting was to sensitive on the motion detector so rolled it back to middle setting and now works perfect. Would purchase again if need be and recommend to anyone. Installed 3 years ago(under overhang) and still works and looks brand new.

When I installed this I discovered that the old fixture I was replacing was an older version of the same make and model as the new one. The old one lasted long enough that I no longer have the manual or remember when I bought it but it worked beautifully for many years. The motion sensor finally quit working although the old fixture still works as a manual on manual off yard light if I wanted to use it that way which I don't. I installed the new one in about 10 minutes but, as I said, the new one is an exact match to the old one so the old mounting plate that attaches the fixture to the box didn't have to be replaced. I reused it.The warning is this. I recall the old fixture lost it's pretty polished brass finish fairly quickly. It's mounted in direct sunlight most of the day and the sunlight really punished the finish. This doesn't bother me but I want to forewarn you in case it might bother you.

The unit works great. At the High Sensitivity, it picks me up 40' away. The only drawback was the initial assembly. The unit came out of the box with the glass lantern loosely attached to the fixture. The hexagonal plate at the top of the lantern has two screws that attach it to the main body of the fixture. One screw is threaded. The other screw needs a nut. This screw wasn't installed. I noticed this as I took it out of the box, and took it inside to assemble at the kitchen table. Everything was still inside the plastic bag at this point, so I don't think I lost it. I used an old screw & nut from the fixture I was removing to make it work.To install or replace the bulb, I can't get my hand into the small hole at the bottom of the lantern, so you have to remove the lantern. Didn't figure that out until I had it all assembled! Seems like both of the lantern mounting screws should attach to threaded holes in the hexagonal plate. If you loosen the wrong one, the nut will drop outside and good luck finding that or re-installing it. #DesignChange

Bought this light to replace an old one that broke off the siding. This one was pretty easy to install! Only tricky thing was figuring out the wall mount compared to my old one, but other than that the wiring was super fast. You can program the light to just stay on all the time, or to stay on for 15, 10, or 5 mins after detecting motion. Super easy to change. If you do sensor you are supposed to leave switch on at all times. Occasionally our switch gets turns off so then the light won’t turn on with or without motion, but all you do is flick light switch on again, and light goes back to the motion setting you had on its own.Love the light, works great, and easy to figure out how to use!

This Brass motion sensor light is beautiful. I have gotten quite a few compliments already. Easy instructions and installation.Tested sensor last couple of nights and it works perfectly.

I have had three of these lights in the same location over the years. They discolor and become defective in about 3 years or so. I have used the same mounting box and bracket for each of them. This newest one will not mount on same hardware. Its base is thicker and the plate in the back is recessed. The mounting screws (bolts) do not reach through the thicker base. They need to be about 5 or 6 threads longer, minimum. Bad design change. My electric boxes are flush with the wall surface. This was a needless and bad design change by Heath Zenith!So far the vendor has not contacted med!

I purchased one of these in 2017. The motion detector failed. I purchased the exact model for the very same price.

OK, first of all these are a great looking, well constructed fixture. Time will tell as to how well the finish holds up. My biggest complaint is I ordered eight fixtures and of that original order, three arrived without the brass surface mounted nut that holds the fixture to the mounting bracket. Sooooo...I return that three and get three replacements - yep, of the three there was one that was missing the same brass nut. I had to re-box it and once again drive to UPS and drop it off to return. I have not received the "last" replacement but am hoping it is complete. REALLY POOR FINAL INSPECTION by the manufacturer...pitiful really to have to ship product back and forth for the want of two nuts per fixture. It's the best way to erode profit and reduce customers. I will follow up once I receive the "last" one.
