Cuts the bleed over and harmonics from over powered local FM stations
I have a local FM station 2 miles away that is running high power. The signal bleeds over into the Air Band and VHF-Hi in spots. This filter removes the false signals and cleans up the bands for me. Decent price, well packaged, and arrived on time. For SDR and scanner work it is worth having one.

Good FM broadcast band stop filter
This puts a fairly deep notch in the spectrum at the broadcast FM band which may help if your SDR is having front end overload problems.

Great for ADSB
Great improvement in ADSB reception. Like another reviewer, I also live on the side of a mountain with a ton of antennas on top.

Handy filter for LRPT NOAA reception
Not everyone needs this, but if you're in a metro area it might just save you. I was using a SAWBIRD NOAA and it would work sometimes, but most of the time I was swamped out by FM signals. I thought I had a frequency drift issue, but no, it was just OOB reception. Installing this filter between the antenna and the SAWBIRD amplifier really did the trick for rejecting the strong FM signals. My station works perfectly now.

If in doubt get the V2...the older model is of limited use.
This is a much better filter for most applications that need an FM notch than the original model. It’s shoulders are much sharper and therefore you were able to use the aircraft band which is almost useless with the V1 filter.(See my sweeps above for both filters. The V2 Filter is the much sharper one of the two)The third picture I have attached it’s just a reference picture of what you would receive to show it’s general size in comparison to an N to SMA adapter and a Load. It gives you an idea of how small it actually is. These things are about the size of a large matchbox.Cheers!

Works as advertised
I live 6 miles from the TV and FM transmitters on Lookout Mountain near Golden, Colorado. My SDRPlay radio couldn't receive much on 2-meters or the aircraft band because of the strong signals coming from those stations through my discone antenna overloading the SDR receiver. Adding this filter in front of the antenna input made it possible to receive aircraft (108-137 MHz and the 2-meter ham band (144-1148MHz). Recommended!

Great filter
I'm in the middle of the city, with a big mountain in front of me where all the city antennas are located, so all my reception includes some sort of comercial band FM interference, but with this filter I'm able to mitigate the problem, no at 100% because I have a radio station 3 blocks away, but with the rest of the RF spectrum works very wellI really recommend connect this filter next to your SDR hardware using the connector included, I connected mine using a 20 cm cable with SMA Male to Male connectors and is more than enough to inyect FM interference again in the line, I was about to ask for a refund but it was my fault at first place

FM Filter
My experience with the Flamingo FM Broadcast Bandstop Filter v2 showed no improvement. It's conceivable that something else is causing the interference instead of FM band waves, or the one I received is ineffective.
