Also seem to be absolutely fine in the rain, not sure they're waterproof, haven't tested that, but in heavy rain they seem fine.Only minor gripe is they are quite hungry on batteries, so would suggest some decent cells, not amazon basics.Other than that, bargain at this price.

Handy little torch that fits in my snickers trousers outside pocket pen/marker holder.Good brightness, water / saliva proof (spends most of its time being held in my mouth while I work with both hands). Chews through batteries at a good rate though, Varta AAA 24 pack bought to feed it.

these pencil torches are very good as a replacement which my last one lasted for many years but obviously a different brand but all the same they do the same job
