ABBREE Tri-band foldable antenna - compact, sturdy and easy to deploy
The quality of this ABBREE foldable antenna, whether it be dual band or tri band, is undeniable and impressive, indeed. And, although the descriptive adjective of "Sheerness" that is requested on the review form for this product is a real head scratcher since this is an amateur radio antenna and not a piece of lady's lingerie, I like this antenna a great deal.It is well built, with sturdy construction from quality materials and performs well as a tri-band antenna on all three bands notwithstanding the fact multiple band antennas are notoriously difficult to tune properly. This antenna folds either in half or in thirds very easily and is held in place with the provided strap to form a very compact antenna that can be easily and quickly deployed for use.It is equipped with an SMA female connector which makes it compatible with many radios including most Baofeng products, although I believe they also will equip them with SMA male connectors making them compatible with other radios such as TYT and Yeasu.I gave it only four stars because any multi-band antenna is a compromise. For optimum performance one actually needs a single-band antenna center-tuned for the specific frequency being used. That said, this ABBREE tri-band foldable tactical antenna does what it's designed to do well enough to be a worthwhile purchase.

Great Antenna
I have several handhelds, and most of them are wearing this antenna. It will add some distance to the radio. I needed just a little better signal, and this antenna is far better than the little one you get with the radio.

This antenna is great, unless you own a UV-S9X3
Bought this antenna for a Baofeng UV-S9X3 Triband radio so I wouldn't have to carry two rubber duck antennas and change them frequently. The antenna itself works excellent for the price and has <2 SWRs at 4-6W (varied by band) on all bands I tested it with (using a tail will let you sling it to the UV-S9X3 but that's not practical for EDC, obviously). It will not fit on the UV-S9X3 without some sort of adapter, and the idea of using an adapter to fit an already large antenna to a handheld sounds shady so I will be searching for a better solution for my triband radio. This antenna drops onto a standard UV-5R radio (and it's rebranded variants) without issue and sits ~1.5 SWR at 4-6W on 2m and 70cm bands.

Works very well
The ABREE antenna has held up very over the last two years. It has been used regularly, and it's performance has been very good. Reception and transmission of signal are far and away better than the stock antenna provided with the radio that it's used on. Would purchase again.

Well, it doesn't work as well as the stock rubber duck antenna.
It is supposed to be a tri band wiz bang long range antenna. It certainly is larger, but does not receive as well as the stock antenna, so I returned it. The whole point of carrying a huge antenna is to get better reception and range. At least that was my expereince in trying it on 2 different Baofengs.

Excellent Antenna on my K5 Plus
The media could not be loaded. I went off reviews on YouTube and they are unanimously correct. I purchased the 18.89” foldable and it’s night and day compared to the Nagoya 771 and Abbree 771 that came with my radio. Even with sma to bnc adapters, snr was excellent, noticing clearer reception and less background noise. If the size doesn’t bother you and bulkiness, I highly recommend you try it. Sub $10 purchase at time of this review, blows away my $20 Nagoya NA-771

Poor quality antenna
For context, my order was FBA and sold by ABBREE. I received the antenna in good condition and proceeded to try it with my Baofeng radios using a (verified functioning and low resistance) cable. Looking to use this antenna at base as a scanner with better range, quality and without having to switch antennas for the 1.25-meter band, I found it came up short. I could barely receive a 200 Watt FM (non-profit music) station 1 mile from my house without a lot of adjusting and the NOAA weather station all but disappeared. My ABBREE Baofeng stock antennae performed better in nearly every way. I didn't even bother performing other testsI didn't believe the other reviewers when they posted pictures of measuring tape being used inside these antennae, but I believe that the rumors are true. Of course, I was unable to verify this visually as I will be returning this item for a full refund. Color me extremely disappointed with ABBREE for this boondoggle.

Made a difference
Made a noticeable difference in range and receiving. Happy with the antenna.
