I have high porosity 4 b type curls. Retaining moisture with my wash and go’s is a constant battle. Now that I’m in my 50’s and coloring my greys it’s even more of an issue. I got this today and tried it to revive my curls on a 4 day wash and go…. And all I did was dampen my hair with a spray bottle and work the product into my hair. I was so shocked at the moisture level… the definition and the hold it gave my curls. My hair did not shrink up either like it normally would when rewetting it.Wow! This is just what I’ve needed and you get a lot of product for a decent price. My curls looked just as good as if I had washed it and with no gel cast but good hold. I did use my diffuser to dry it as well. I’m so happy I found this product and I highly recommend it. My pictures don’t do it justice . Keeps hair from frizzing out but not heavy or greasy. Great product.

I wanted to do a twist-out on my hair and needed some product. I initially thought I bought the "medium hold" version of this item, but I had purchased the "soft hold" variant. Despite this, the product made my chunky twist-out look amazing and lasted all day! My only issue is that I've noticed that the product causes flakiness. I didn't notice it the first time I used it because I was wearing a white sweater that day, but I saw it the next time. The strange thing is that I can't see the flakes on my actual hair, only when I manipulate my hair a lot. Perhaps I used too much product. I'll update when I try using less. For reference, this was done on 4a/b blown out hair and I did use a little bit of anti-frizz hair serum on the twists too.Update: It wasn't as flaky when I used the product on damp hair.

I like this product. It does what it says it will do. My hair has beautiful waves/curls and is quite soft.

Wonderful hair product

I do not think this product helped very well moisturizing. I'm not saying it did not, but not as much as I though. I spent hours trying to find a curl cream that was more natural and not super expensive.It did help a little with softening, but not enough to buy again..Or maybe I'll find a more complementing product alongside. I'm not sure.I also do not like the smell. I've been trying to find products to cover the smell. The smell also lingers.It also seems heavy. I'm going to try and use less. I also bough Maui moisture curl smoothie. That smelled a little better, but not much. I'm going to find another product that helps moisturize and smells at least more tolerable.Maybe I'm doing it wrong.
