This timer is comfortable and has a large easy-to-read dial. The timing buttons are simple to use. The countdown feature is perfect for the start of sailboat races. There is also programmed in a useful sequence of audible beeps.

We purchased this watch for our son who uses it for sail races. He loves it. It is very easy to navigate. The screen is very large and has sound so very helpful in the turmoil of the race to keep track of count down til start. We had an issue with the product and the Wetsuit Outlet was very responsive and solved our issue.

This watch is an oldie but a goodie, love the size and easy to read face. The Sync button is a lifesaver and easy and intuitive to use. It’s great for race officers like myself for running races and estimating the length of a race, or running a starting sequence, and I plan to also use it as a racer this summer. I like that I can customize the starting sequence because the races I participate in have different sequences, sometimes not one of the standard ones. I didn’t give it 5 stars because the Mode and Clear buttons are so small relative to the other function buttons and I can’t read their labels without glasses because the print on the buttons is so tiny, so I might mix up which one is which. Other than that, terrific watch, worth the money, and can’t wait to use it for racing!

This is perhaps the easiest regatta starting line watch to use and read. Wish I had this watch years ago. It (has so far) survived capsizing, salt water and sand. The band fastens tightly, no chance of the watch coming off. The auto lap timer after the start helps you see if you are sailing faster or slower with each race.

The watch wouldn't start when I first got it, so I replaced the battery. It turned on, and then I set it aside. One month later when I actually wanted to use it, it's off again. Replacing the battery is a complete pain as it requires a very small screwdriver and the battery is not something you will have lying around - so it's not fixable on race day. Will try once more before tossing it in the garbage.Update: I replaced the battery and it looked great but one hour later, the numbers were only partially displayed and shortly after the watch was dead again.

I have poor eyesight and need BIG numbers. This is the only watch, besides one made by Gill to fills this order. The best part is that this watch is significantly less and is very easy to set up and use. I really like the front buttons.
