Nice quality handle, chrome finish is great and this replaced my existing corroded handle easily. Fit was perfect and comes with a couple of different screws making for a fairly universal handle for a variety of door widths. Only negative is the pocket to insert your fingers into is very shallow, especially compared to my old handle. You can only get fingertips in so opening the door can be a bit difficult, especially for users with long fingernails.

Got this replacement for the sliding door latch that broke the moving inner piece. Be aware that this version locks up compared to the old one locking down. Therefore you will need to open up the window so the lock fits in the unlocked position (down). I am including 4 pictures. The first two show the replacement latch in the locked position (up) and unlocked (down). The other two pictures show the old latch (other sliding door), unlocked position (up) and locked position (down).

Metal parts held up over a three year period. Little bit of wear and tear and some sort of weird white build up on them made the lock a little harder to open and close. But it worked fine overall.The exposed metal will falter eventually. If you want a more long term weatherproof handle you should find one that is coated with a protective layer.

I am a senior and my door lock on my padio broke. After searching on Amazon, I found the exact one (I was hoping) and my house was built in 1978. It came very fast and I actually installed it myself in about 15 minutes. I am so happy I was afraid I would have to replace the wholedoor but now once again I have a lock on my door.

My doors are old and local brick and mortar businesses lead me around their store with no results.I spent a lot of time figuring out why old lock wouldn't work. A broken piece not evident until I had disassembled it.Usually I don't read instructions unless I get stuck. I don't recommend not to read the instructions but know that it only took me 5 minutes to install, including slight adjustment downward of locking gizmo that it slides onto. My old set was white but I like this better, easier to see overall as well as seeing locking mechanisms.So satisfied I bought another for the left hand side rather than wait for it to break like right hand side. Why not? The price is great.

Fell apart and needs replacing After 4 months. The lock locked up and can’t get it to move up or down so stuck in position. Took apart put back together and still sticking to where you can’t move it with your fingers.
