I will never go back to anything else!
This sauce is the best! I have had many different seafood boils! Vegas Hot and Juicy being one of my all time favorites and I have to say this is fire! She always says you can make it your own way and put what you want in it. I make 2 batches with this packet of seasoning! Freeze what you don't use and make sure after you make it to let it sit for a day like she recommends if you have the time to do so. I make it to just eat with veggies when I don't have seafood!1 stick of butter1 1/2 white sweet onion1/2 cup jarlick!Let that cook in the pot until onion is translucent!3 cups of chicken brothhalf pack of seasoning (smackalicious)1/2 cup pickled gingerlet simmer for 5-8 mins and let sit for one day!sometimes I add 3 TBLS of sugar. optionalDang! its amazing! Very spicy and will definitely be buying more!
This was stated to arrive on the 23rd, arrived ahead of time to my glee on the 19th. I ordered on the 16th of April.Now to the good part, the product! I love spicy and this was hella spicy but not overwhelmingly spicy. I added 3 sticks of butter cause it was just me and my sister testing it and I didn’t want to waste ingredients in case I didn’t like it, I also didn’t add the pickled ginger because I couldn’t find it to save my life, nor did I add the vinaigrette. I love onions and peppers so I added a shitton of those, I’ll add even more next time cause it was just that good. But nonetheless we both loved it, I’m not a seafood person, so I had grilled Turkey sausage, corn on the cob, steamed broccoli, baby red and gold potatoes, and two hard boiled eggs even though I loathe eggs I wanted to try. And they weren’t bad but… they were still eggs lol. My sister had colossal shrimp and is now nagging me on when I’ll make more. I’ll definitely be ordering this in the near future.

Great
The product isn’t overly spicy but has a nice kick. I decided to use the seasoning in smaller amounts and it still tastes great. The sodium content is high but it isn’t too salty in my opinion. The price is good for the amount of seasoning in the bag. The sauce is easy to prepare all I added was some butter, garlic, and chicken broth.

Nope nope nope and nope!
I was going to make this sauce with a boil for my inlaws but i ran short on time and we just picked up dinner. I attempted to make it the next day for myself but costco was out of king crab which has never happened to me before. Today i was not letting the universe stop me from diving in on this infamous sauce so i broke out the green lips and went for it.The whole thing was awful from beginning to end. When I opened the bag my wife and I instantly started coughing and sneezing. There was an overwhelming smell of what reminded me of Italian seasoning. Following the instructions exactly as written on the bag i ended up with paste so i had to add more liquid. Right away i could tell it was too sweet, too thick and lots of thyme which i hate the texture of.The taste was surprisingly blan. For it to have soooo Many seasonings in it i was shocked. It was also extremely sweet. It has a nice mild spice but not at all what i expected.A for effort and A for hustle but im sooo glad i only ate this with $15 worth of muscles. I would have been so angry wasting my crab with this sauce.

Good Value If Used Right
A friend of mine raved about this sauce on her seafood so I was excited to give this a try. Since the cost of this was higher than I would normally pay for seasoning, I did my research for how it can be used to make the sauce and if there were other food you can make this with other than seafood. I choose to use half the bag to make a large quantity of sauce, and I let it sit overnight in the refrigerator. The next day when I tasted the sauce, I added a little hot sauce and cayenne pepper to make a little spicier and a bit more brown sugar. I think the key is to taste and adjust to your liking. Also, I only use about 1/4 cup of sauce per seafood boil for myself so once I made the sauce, I put them in muffin tins and froze them into 1/4 cup serving size blocks and put them in freezer bags. When I want to use the sauce, I can just take out a block for myself and enjoy - and if I want more I use two blocks. Months ago I purchased glass spice jars from Amazon and put the remaining seasoning in the jar. So far, I've used the spices with butter and lemon to make baked salmon and asparagus and it was phenomenal. I also watched a video on YouTube where a man used it to make wings (I think his name is simplyfoodbyTy or something similar) . I followed his recipe, added a little more spice and those wings were soooo good. Next I'm going to try the seasoning on beef short ribs and using honey instead of brown sugar for the sweetener. In my opinion, she could have made these into smaller single serve packets and made a killing selling them. The way it's sold now,I feel like I'm getting my value for the money that I spent because there's so many ways I can use this pouch because it's so concentrated. I can't wait for it to get in stock so I can buy another bag!
