Can this be used under a bed sheet or as a cover for a childs bed?

It is NOT made for that use but i do sit on mine for muscle issues. If you used it in that way I would use extreme caution. It does have a timer and is designed to go over aching muscles. The decision would be totally yours. But I've had NO problems with mine...

Yes. But be aware of the heating element burning your skin if left on too high. That said, ive had it on for the full 2 hrs on max heat and it left red looking lines but they weren't burns. Would recommend.

Certainly should be able to unplug at mat end if you're supposed to be able put in washing machine !! Must admit I can't unplug it !! Great apart from that .

Amazing product!!

Very soft and comfortable. It heats up really well and can be very soothing for muscle pain. It has a built in timer which is perfect if you plan on sleeping with it - you can set it to turn off after 30, 60, 90, or 120 minutes. It also turns back on after the selected time has passed. It’s really good for travelling, it’s not massive but is still big enough to cover major parts of the body. The material is really nice and soft. Would 100% recommend.

Heated rectangle

This is absolutely brilliant as I suffer from pain. I am able to move it to where I need it to work. Only problem is the cable can get in the way and has to be manovered for comfort, other than that it's brilliant even on the lowest setting.

Great for backache and period pain. Plus the cat gets an occasional snooze on it.

I use this daily. Excellent to ease aches and pains but it does get very hot even on medium setting. I turn it off when I'm not around to be on the safe side. My old cat is allowed an occasional supervised snooze on ittoo.
