Crayola Paper Maker, Paper Making DIY Craft Kit, Gift for Kids, 7, 8, 9, 10

I was very surprised at how well these work.First, they are very easy and fun to build. Second, the ink works super good. I’m using the markers I made and mr. Sketch and can honestly say the markers we made work way better. I haven’t wrote a product review in a long time, but felt compelled to tell everyone how great these work!

I love Crayola and always will. The only product that is terrible are those glitter glue tubes. I digress. EVERYONE SHOULD do a search on YouTube and read amazon reviews before using ANY product on earth!!! So as someone commented it is too thick, when I opened up the kit with my kids and told them to use half the pulp (125 line, and then push it down, and then fill it up with 125 line or more). I am in the drying process now but it's a great set. Not sure the silly complaints are - you need to adapt a product to how you like it. My only suggestion is to have 3 screens so you can easily do 2 sheets to dry at once. As for the cranking is difficult for kids, there is always the need for parent support. It's not that difficult at all - I'm sure a 10 year old could crank it themselves.

Awesome fun way to create your "own" marker. Love the nib and feel of the Crayola marker - however, I use a LOT of the black, so I go through a bunch of them. So, I use this to make my own black markers using permanent and alcohol based inks. For that ability alone, I'm thrilled with this. Kids will enjoy making and mixing the provided colors as well. It's virtually NO mess, easy, fun, and the carry case is nice. A little pricey, more empty marker tubes would have been nice (18 or 20?) But my grandson has been dying for me to open it since it arrived, and loved having his own personal marker to use minutes after I did.

I was very hesitant to make a purchase on a product labeled as used and partly damaged, but I was very surprised.I bought two "Used/ Damaged" Crayola Marker Maker sets for my son to play around with this summer. We have these kits before and he loved the freedom to make his own colors and to experiment with color saturation. My order can in two shipments, and the first one was perfect. I do not know what caused them to label it as defective or damaged but it was fine. The second one that was delivered ... oh boy... not only was it missing all of the marker caps that cover the tips, no labels for markers, and the kit was even used, three markers were already made!!! They sent me a kit that someone else owned and USED! The first kit was brand new ... no issue at all and the second kit was missing several items. Even the markers that were previously made/owned did not have tip covers... they were just placed in a zip lock bag and shipped to me.

My kids had a blast making markers! The markers work really well and are great for kids. My only complaint is you can't find refills anywhere. You would have to buy this same package even though you still have leftovers.
