Brach’s Milk Maid Caramels, Individually Wrapped Candy, 10oz Bag

I should have looked at the package better or possibly read the description.I had a made a assumption that these would taste like the pumpkin Halloween candies and they definitely do not there's a variety of flavors listed on the front of the bag all common fall favorites. I'm glad I got to try them. For some reason they haven't been in stores here in Florida. They where deliver within hours and where affordable! I am happy to have be able to try a tasty candie by Branchs.

Still one of my faves..but what in BLUE BLAZES has gone wrong with the wrappers? I swear it's like an evil genius designed a deranged dexterity challenge in each and every one of these little monstrosities. How long can you drool before giving up on the plastic sheathing? I'm usually fairly patient and unusually good at manual dexterity tasks but I swear to you.....these candies are on the verge of being shrink wrapped for eternity..so for this one reason I'm being generous taking off just one star. Thank goodness I only eat one or two a day. I can't imagine unwrapping a whole bag for caramel apples like in the olden days. I'd lose what little mind I still have. Good candy but good luck getting to them. Oh, and don't grab a scissors or you'll inevitably end up with tiny shreds of plastic in your mouth. I know. Gross.

The original ones were usually fine, these were hard. Amazon reimbursed my purchase price which was very generous.

I purchased the milk maid carmels 10 oz bag. they taste pretty good if you can get them out of the wrapper. They are each individually wrapped, but like shrink wrapped to the candy. In fact, it takes longer to get it out of the wrapper then in does to eat them. It’s like a puzzle trying to find an open part on the plastic to start peeling away the wrapper. The Carmel itself is a very small square. They do taste good and the bag they come in is very colorful.

The taste is great, but most the caramels are squished. Since they are squished the wrapper is VERY hard to get off.
