Good range. Use it to turn well pump on/off
Mounted this in a water tight box and mounted it to the power pole at the well. Distance from house about a quarter mile. No problem operating, didn't need to extend the remote antenna. Unit antenna has a magnetic base, easy mount on top of breaker box. Switch on side of remote, " N/F" N = ON, F= OFFWeird, but whatever. As long as it works, which it does.Complaint - if your going to design something that takes 40 amps, size the terminals for that wire size.Used ring terminals to connect #10 wire to it.

Woks as advertised!
I use this remote switch to turn on the bilge pump in my boat about 500’ from my house. Works every time!

Works WAY better than I thought.
What a great tool. We use it to control a fountain in our lake. It's advertised to work 1500 meters away from the remote control. That's 4921 Feet away ! One can hardly even see that far. We are only 500' away from the unit and it works great, and actually almost instantly. It also comes with two remote controls. Be prepared to know how to hardwire some basic electric items though. I cut an extension cord in 1/2 and wired it in and out of the unit. Get one !

Excellent range
Does not require line of sight. Have tested up to about 600'. Note that remote control units use 9V batteries, but the switch itself draws power from the input. I am using the DC model, and the negative terminal is simply passed through from input to output, only the positive terminal is switched. In other words, in case you are wondering, this is not a double pole switch. Everything worked out of the box, wasn't necessary to "pair" or "program" anything. Have only had it about a week, so don't know yet about longevity. So far, very happy. Also, fyi, there is a green light that comes on on the switch when the switch is turned on, but there is no feedback on the remote control units, no way to tell if switch is on or off. There is some seemingly random blinking with that green light that I haven't figured out yet, but the switch state is steady, it remains on regardless of the blinks. Ordering another to use in related application (this is to turn pump on and off via relay, with other I hope to manage a valve). May get a third to keep for spare.

Randomly stops working after a couple of days
Edit: it was a user error. It now works well for over a year. We use it to trigger Lights at far location on our property. However the unit stops responding to the remote control after couple of days of non-use. You have to reboot it by turning power off for a couple of minutes and turn it back on for it to start responding to the remote control again.

With a power failure the switch returns in the "open" or "off" state.
This product is set up so in the Normally Closed configuration, thus; if there is a power failure and the switch is on, when power returns, the switch will be turned off. For example, if you have the switch controlling a pump or a light and the power goes off, when the power comes back on the pump or light will be off. You will have to switch it back on with the remote.

Terrible, incomplete instructions, likely defective
1. The instructions omitted the need to place the remote’s side button in the “N” (ON) position during programming; both remotes came from the factory in the “F” (OFF) position.2. Once programmed, the unit functions as a latching relay; that is, once turned on, the load (the device supplied by the relay’s output; a light, in my case) STAYS ON even if the remote’s OFF button is pressed. With this first remote (see below for the other problems with the other remote), the only way to turn the load off is to manually unplug the power supplying the relay.3. To clear the memory, the instructions say “wring and Turn on the power.” Wring? Turn on what power? Supply power to the relay? Press the remote’s ON button? It then says “push this button 8 times.” What button? It doesn’t specify the button, nor is there an associated diagram illustrating it. Clear as mud!4. After programming the other remote, it will turn the load off if I press the ON button twice. Strangely, the OFF button does nothing.Because the remotes include ON and OFF buttons, the load should remain on after the ON button is pressed until the OFF button is pressed.Unless the seller wants more unhappy customers, they should immediately revise their instructions and clarify the solutions to the problems noted above.

Great product
Very easy installation , I am using it to run 13 Anp. 2 HP central Vacuum motor It functions throughout the whole house . Using one remote upstairs and one downstairs .It paired right up all by itself. The only issue is the on off Battery is not clearly marked, for some reason it is designated. F or N not sure why .
