Powerful lighting, Proper Cutoff, Plug and play
The media could not be loaded. Installed these on my 86 Ford LTD after recently driving home on a dark country road with the factory halogens. Having other cars with proper OEM LED projectors, I just couldn't take the poor lighting anymore. There are not many options for 4x6 lights that don't look horrendous, so i wanted to give these "reflector style" lights a try. Needless to say, I'm quite impressed. The lights are extremely bright and have proper cutoff to not blind oncoming traffic. These were plug and play for me and required to addition relays or wiring. Based on the low beam performance, I'll be ordering the high beams now. Can't speak to longevity yet, but so far so good.

Highbeams Won't Work Unless. . .
Since Amazon didn't like my first review, maybe this one will go through.Bought these Philips H4656LED 4x6 as an upgrade for my 1993 Dodge Dakota 4x4. They look great, sleek design, fits perfectly in the headlight buckets, great light output, and well packaged. However, the highbeam feature will not work by themselves. They are made to work as a quad headlight unit. For the price of these lights, I'd at least expect them to be fully functional, not half way.

So much brighter than Sealed Halogen bulbs
This installs just like a regular sealed beam headlight - remove the bezel with the 4 screws, remove old bulb, install new bulb, replace bezel with the 4 screws. The color of light emitted is just like any of the new cars with LED headlights - very classy looking. The beam pattern is exceptionally wide compared to halogen - makes it easier to see curbs and stuff in the ditches compared to halogen. The vertical cutoff is very defined to keep from blinding oncoming drivers. The hot spot is kinda where I have the issue - its edge is irregular and differs between left bulb and right bulb slightly (not sure if it’s the LED chip that causes this or if it’s the reflector). I’m not really sure where to aim them. They work great on the highway at night. I could never find a video of the Philips beam pattern online, but I did see reviews of the Morimoto and Holley lights - their price didn’t justify choosing them. I am considering ordering the high beam versions of these lights, but the existing halogen bulbs work fine since I only drive with them on occasion.

Good plug & play LED headlights
I replaced stock sealed beam headlights on my 1987 Regal. Easy to install and much much better. Many of the LED replacements are like powerful flashlights and that doesn't really work on a car, as they light has to spread out in specific patterns or you blind oncoming traffic. These have the same pattern as the stock headlights, just much improved (and I mean MUCH improved) lighting. Plus there was no cutting of the headlight buckets, no messing with the wires, just take the old ones out, put the new ones in and you're done. HOWEVER, I ordered two H4656 lights--the dim lights--so I could try them out before buying the brights--see if they fit and all that. The invoice said two 4656 lights, the boxes were both labeled H4656, but one of them was an H4651, a bright light. So I just went ahead and ordered another bright and another dim and put them all in. No problem. Still... they should get the right lights in the right boxes. If I had ordered all four at once I would have had three of the 4651s and just one of the 4656s. Now I did order the first two from two separate vendors, so I don't know which one screwed up, but all's well that ends well. Love the lights.

misleading or false product information, made me spend valuable time. These PHILIPS H4656LED does not have HI BEAM in it, even though it has H4 connector and claimed to be HI/LOW BEAM.It won't fit your car.Its made for SEMI trucks equipped with twin headlights each side
