Read a lot of reviews stating that product was broken and magnets were weak. These both arrived in perfect condition and the magnets work just fine on my baseboard venting units. I only wish that the guard was adjustable and not curved as much as it is. Otherwise, it works fine.

Worked well on my baseboard register. Magnets could be a bit stronger, but they do hold once you find a good mount point.

Wow. I saw reviews of people saying this arrived broken, or that it broke easily... let me tell you.Mine arrived in perfect condition. I was going to use it to redirect the air from my window air conditioner away from my couch, as it points directly to my favorite seat on the couch and it gets way too cold.The magnets on the side might as well not even be an option because they have 0 strength. The only way the magnets would do anything at all is if you have this laying on the floor, FLAT. I think the magnets were installed just to keep this thing from moving left and right, but that's it. If you plan on mounting this on any other surface thats not flat on the floor, like wall or ceiling vents, you might as well order velcro tape or double sided sticky tape or something because this wont hold its own weight. In its defense, this technically was designed to lay flat on the floor but seriously they couldn't have found a weaker magnet for this...ANYWAY, I used Velcro trape to secure it to my Midea U Shape Window AC. It wasn't holding very well and was wanting to fall off, so I went to remove it to re secure the velcro, and I dropped it... It fell LITERALLY about a 1 foot, onto a CARPET FLOOR, and get this, IT BROKE!I am beyond shocked!!!! No wonder these were arriving broken etc! I will say it worked great for what I was using it for but now will need to re order. Maybe ill just find one of those thin flimsy plastic pieces that can bend and I'll rig something to redirect the air instead.1st pic is selft explanatory.2nd pic is how I had it set up.3rd pic just shows how far the floor is.

1. The magnets on this thing suck. 2. It’s thin and like most reviews say, it breaks easily if dropped.I primarily got it to redirect the air flow from my son’s bed but I didn’t bother spending extra on stronger magnets or any of that. I simply attached it with rubber bands. Took less than 5 minutes to install. It doesn’t look pretty but it serves its purpose. We also noticed it keeps the room much cooler. Manufacturers can easily tweak it so that it works for any and all ACs but it’s cheap and now you know, you can do it yourself! Highly Recommend as a simple and fast solution.

Very fragile and broke on me, taped it 2-3 times till I gave up. Only size I can find so I ordered another one. Hope this one doesn’t brake.

Works great for our old fashioned floor baseboard heating ducts. The magnets work well and hold it in place. It arrived quickly and with no problems.

This is a good reflector for long vents. You can use it for air return vents.

For one, it is only for baseboard vents, not any of the flat ground or ceiling ones, I know the name says baseboard but the pictures and description say otherwise. Secondly, out of the box mine had a giant crack through one of the layers. Also, the magnets are insanely weak, the 2 halves don't stay together very well and were constantly popping out of the channels just in the few seconds while I was adjusting it to attach it to the vent. All things aside though, I'm still using it, as it is the only deflector I could find that was only a slight angle instead of a full 90 degrees. I replaced the magnets with some strong ones I had laying around and it works as I had intended it. Would buy again if I needed one for another vent, but only due to the angle of it. Build quality is horrible, it's not durable (couldn't even withstand shipping in a box that was INSIDE ANOTHER BOX), and if you plan on buying this, buy some magnets with it if you don't already have some because the magnets that come with it were weaker than the advertisement magnets that come glued to a phone book.
