Really nice float with large valve and accurate size description.
This is like a much larger, and tougher, version of some of the smaller Intex Gator Ride Ons that I have seen, sans handles. It is very nice to see an outline of the inflatable next to a silhouette of a human on the box to get an exact idea of the size. The material is textured, similar to what I have seen on a vinyl inflatable boat, and is thick, especially compared to smaller ride on pool floats. I would personally prefer a smoother matte vinyl, but I am guessing that this was chosen so it would not be slippery in the water. The box states that there are cup holders on this float, but I did not see any, which I am actually happy about - every drink that I have ever had on a float like this has spilled. It is really, really nice to have a large valve for rapid inflation/deflation.It is also nice that this float comes with an actual repair kit (sections of the same kind of vinyl as used in the float, and a tube of vinyl glue), instead of just a sticker, which wouldn't work well on the textured surface, should a puncture or tear occur.Make sure your pool (or preferred body of water) is large enough for this float. It really is big!

Great size & easy to inflate/deflate!
While we didn't use this giant alligator for a pool or body of water, we did use it as a prop for our Happy Gilmore themed golf hole setup! It was a big hit and everyone thought it was hilarious. It got played with quite a bit in the office and out on the golf course and held up well! It was quick to inflate and even quicker to deflate. It came with a kit to seal the inflation/deflation valve shut with green matching plastic and glue in case you never want to deflate it. It arrived quickly and worked great for our purpose!

First impression from the grands lots of giggles
Took a while to get this big boy blown up but was very easy with the company’s instruction. Had 3 grandkids not really following the rules and were a bit aggressive with him. (Ages 10, 8, and 4). So I will have to say it’s a very well made gator. It has been inflated for 3 weeks now and shows very little sign of loosing air. It was used hard for 4 days in the pool while the grandkids were here. Seems to be a good product!

Big hole after minimal use
We had one of these a long time ago and it lasted us many summers with lots of use in our pool. Decided to get another one after moving into a new home with a new pool and the quality just was not the same. It didn’t even last the summer without getting a hole in it. We hardly got any real use out of it, and after paying quite a lot for a pool float you would expect it to last at least a summer. Very disappointed with the product and it’s durability.

Fun, big
Fun, big, floaty! Awesomely made and had fun hanging out with friends at the pool with this grown-up take on a classic kids float! Glad we went in on this!

Love the float! :-) But now its got a small leak. :-(
I saw this back in September and decided to buy it as a late bday present for myself for next summer at the pool. So far, I haven't taken it to the pool because of the season change, but I have had it inflated and out at least 5 or 6 times so far to relax on in the comfort of my place lately to have fun on because I read that this was made out of durable vinyl material and was really strong. But then it turns out that now my float has got a small hole in it now. I had it today to relax on because of how I was missing the summer pool vibes and I heard a whistle and I looked and the big al' float has a small hole on one of the seams near the head of the gator. Now I'm sad because I'm going to have to repair and patch it and I'm hoping that if my repair skills are good, that the repair will go good and that hopefully I won't have any more holes or leaks in my big al' gator float. Believe me, I really really do love it! I think that the gator float is a great pool float and its better than the version that Intex has because of the size and everything. And believe me, I don't think that I was rough at all with it so far when I was relaxing on it outside the pool. Today is the first time that I have noticed the small hole. I might think about getting another one possibly if my repair skills don't work out good. But I do want to give props and kuddos to GoFloats for making an awesome pool float that is over 11ft long! That is actually the longest pool float I have own so far! I'll edit my review when I repair the hole and test it out again and see what I find out. I might also get in touch with GoFloats possibly and see what they can do maybe too. I'm guessing that I'll have to be very careful with my big al' from now until May at least. This is also actually the first giant pool float that has developed a leak/hole in in for the first time owning it. The others that I have are still in good shape and no problems. You can read my reviews on both the Intex Mega Flamingo Inflatable Island Pool Float and the Intex Mega Toucan Inflatable Island Pool Float on those floats because those are the other two giant pool floats I have and they have done the job very good so far.*Update: I recently decided to try to repair and patch the small hole on my Big Al' float to see if it works, because lucky I had a lot of different patch kits to use, so I used a clear patch to see if it works. After letting it sit for about an hour and a half after repair, I inflated it to see if it worked and it did for a little bit, at least maybe 10 minutes, until the patch started to pull itself away from the float, which let it opened up a little and the hole leak out the air again unfortunately. So, I guess my repair patching skills were a total bust for me and I failed at it. So, I decided that it would be best to wait until the summer season arrives next year and buy another Big Al' float when the time comes. I'm not angry or upset at all with what happened. Believe me, I'm not one of those people who get furiously angry or insanely upset over a product like this each time. I mean, things like this happen and you can't predict them to happen. Because like I said, I didn't expect my Big Al' float to get a small hole already, despite not having the chance yet to take it to the pool and I don't know how it did happened. It's a total mystery to me still. But I have come to peace with it happening and I'm willing to wait until it is time to buy another one next year, when I actually do go to the pool. And that folks, is called making a wise choice. Again, love the float for its huge size and everything, but not angry or upset at all! Will definitely buy again and be very extra careful with the second one.
