Ordered this for my sectional. I purchased my sofa 2 yrs ago. I have dogs who play, sleep etc and it started to pill. This product instantly made it look new again. It was definitely worth the money. It easily removed every pill. Instructions are straight forward, easy to use. It arrived with a blade already installed. I also like the cover that comes with it to cover blade.

Love this thing! Works great on my hoodies and cleans them up so well that they look new - no pills left. Battery lasts a long time. One note, the battery display shows remaining charge in tenths - 90% to 80% - 70% and so on, not 90 to 89 to 88. No problem for me as my car fuel gauge is like that. Easy to hold. So far has not damaged any of my clothing.

Being the ultra picky gal I am, I searched and searched for the most aesthetically pleasing fabric shaver I was able to find. I came across this one and decided that it was the most modern best looking option available. However despite winning in the looks department, it is absolutely losing in its functionality. This thing is as useless as a dull spoon for fabric shaving. I really should have used it sooner, within the return time window, but I didn’t. I’m stuck with a very pretty, ultimately, hunk of junk. I am not one to really go out of my way to write reviews, however I do feel passionately about this loss that I’ve experienced to warn others. It is definitely within my top three worst purchases off of Amazon without a doubt. Dont get my wrong it looks so chic and seems like such a fun gadget to use around the house on pillows, couches, clothing, etc. but you wont make it past your first item you want to remove piling from. I really meant it when I said it’s about as effective as a dull spoon when it comes to removing pilling from items. Not that you’ll even be able to make it long enough to get through the first item you try to work on because the battery just loses its power almost instantly after using it. It will only run 1-2 minutes where I can hear the motor pumping at its full potential before it makes a very sudden and noticeable drop in efficacy. The thing I don’t understand is that it tells me it’s at 100% battery but without me changing what power setting I’m on why does it sound like it drops from the highest level down to the lowest level? Basically you’ll be able to just use it on its lowest power setting despite having it turned up to its highest (3rd) level. I couldn’t figure it out for the longest time why it was not grabbing any of the pilling or fuzzies on fabric, and I thought that it was just the ineffective motor inside of it.. but then I thought, no maybe let’s try swapping the blades out for an extra set that comes with it, and cleaning out some of the build up with the cleaning brush they provide you..but still NO change! So I tried every extra blade set they sent, cleaning with the provided brush very frequently, and still absolutely no difference. It frustrated me so much. In fact, I talk to a couple friends who also had their own (different brand) fabric shavers to try and figure out if there’s gave them the same issues, but it was not the same experience. They all love and swear by theirs, but I’m stuck with the inefficient dull spoon of a fabric shaver. No matter how hard I push down it barely catches anything, and I could spend a whole day trying to remove wear from a single sock by using this particular shaver. What I’m getting at here is please please take my advice, just because something looks cute doesn’t mean it will work well. Go for the tried and true trusted brands for your fabric shaver. Skip this one, skip this one, and I repeat, skip this one. I hardly doubt that I just so happened to receive a lemon product either tbh.

Fabric shaver, I hate them. They usually don't last me long but I've had this over 3 years making it a great value. I use it mostly on small things like shirts and spot shaving on leggings. It charges well and runs smoothly, as long as I do my part and have the fabric smooth before I run the shaver over the area. It holds a large amount of pill shavings before needing to be cleaned, which is also quick and easy. I had done a few larger areas and had no problems, but nothing major. I took on the task of shaving my king size mattress and was surprisingly pleased. On a full charge it ran for 2 hours (almost fully nonstop) and still had battery left when I finished. It was very easy to use on the mattress since the fabric was already pulled tight, so I didn't have to worry about that.Overall I've been very happy with this item and recommended it to anyone needing a household fabric shaver for various jobs.
