Is this mattress soft to lie on i dont want it hard

I can't leave a review because mine isn't marked as delivered yet. The top is almost a 4 star in terms of comfort. The bottom is not even padded at all. I can literally pinch the springs between my fingers and see the fabric wrinkle. Mattresses are expensive and it costs money to dispose of them so I am not particularly happy since I guess you probably have to flip the mattress over at some point?.

How long after opened can the mattresses be used?

I opened one morning and used that night.

The heading says 3ft for a single, and lower down it says 2ft 6 - which is it please

3ft is the width for a single and 2 ft 6 is the small single size
