Very useful, powerful and reliable torchExcellent value for money

Good torch, easy to use and super bright, but with the low power option as well. Easy to charge and sturdy.

An excellent torch but I discovered it cannot be fully charged from the USB port on my laptop - insufficient power apparently. I have a more powerful USB charger so not an issue, and the torch is excellent with two levels of brightness on the main light, a useful light for working in difficult areas, and emergency red/blue flashing LEDs.

Took a gamble as the price seemed very reasonable for the high ratings.I needed something that could act as a hand held spotlight to see what my dogs were up to during their evening toilet break.The review photos all shown “normal” sized gardens, albeit we’ll light up.I have 2.5 acres of pitch black paddock to find the dogs in when they decide it’s not actually their bedtime.Considering I only have the lights on the stables and the moon in the garden, this purchase was well worth it.The beam length is fantastic and doesn’t lose strength in any distance of the paddocks I point it, the central beam is still really strong and the radial (surrounding light outside of the main beam) is also bright and broad.Secondary light or lamp is also pretty good. It’s ideal if you need a mobile light when looking for something and need to use both your hands so you can stand it up flat and see what you’re doing.The main light has 3 settings, full beam, dimmed beam and a slow flash.The lamp has full brightness, dimmed brightness and then a red and blue strobe effect.I don’t think I’ll use the red and blues as it may be slightly confusing if used on the road side.Personally this should have been an amber hazard colour (like highway maintenance vans and trucks use) for safety reasons.However, I have no intention of using the red and blues but will if I’m stranded and changing a tyre near a road, but the main reason for buying was purely to spot light the dogs and any potential animals in the paddocks.One minor drawback is that it’s so lightweight it feels like a bad drop would crack the plastic, but understandably LEDs are much lighter than conventional bulbs.Overall I’m super impressed with it, I feel like I’ve spent £80 and been given £50 back for writing this review.I imagine I’ll be buying more to keep in the house and in the stable for emergencies !

An excellent lamp

It’s robust incredibly bright you really can see a very long way.It does have 3 settings on each button so you have to press twice more to switch it off but you soon get used to that and having 3 settings on the torch and 3 settings on light means it’s incredibly versatile.The torch is well balanced and easy to carry but also sits well on the base so you can stand the torch anywhere flat to use the light feature. The torch and the light can be used at the same time.It has a flashing blue and red setting handy if your car breaks down and perfect for walking on an unlit road where just a torch beam may not be enough to make drivers aware you there.

Where do you start with this? Ok you want to buy a torch for outside use and you think I'll spend a decent amount get one to last. A torch must either need batteries or is in someway rechargeable or so you would think.This arrived. The product is manufactured in China. Now given that country has put me in state of isolation where to pass the time I've decided to try and reclimb the ladder of Amazon reviewers (I used to be in the top 1000 you know) I still recognise that products are manufactured in China for sensible economic reasons. The instructions on how to use it were mesmerising - now Im a reasonably intelligent person and can follow loose translations but this was ridiculous. So plan B do what kids do ignore instructions and go with your instinct. How to charge this thing - it must plug in somewhere = no adapter. A car charger is in the box = great fire up the engine and charge it using the car battery because that will be easy and environmentally friendly. Nothing - not a flicker of light. OK so I could have been sent a dud one but no logical way to charge the battery; Instructions harder to understand that Office Crabtree trying to translate French into Greek for 25 quid or so. Swipe right; move on; avoid.1 star overall generous0 stars for brightness as I never actually got to see it light up0 stars for battery life (assuming it had a battery) as never got it charged with no charger5 starts for lightweight - yes it was light and lightweight as it was useless.

Very well made torch. Very bright light just out of the box and easy to charge. It is just the thing to keep handy in the house for when the electric fails etc as it has a light on the side that would light up a room enough to read.
