IGNORE THE NEGATIVE REVIEWS—it’s great!
I love this table!!I almost didn’t buy it because of the reviews that said it was not sturdy and was hard to put together, etc.My table is VERY sturdy, and can, in fact, hold 30 lbs like it claims. If your table is NOT steady, YOU have assembled it incorrectly. If your table broke because you leaned on it, that’s probably because YOU have applied more than the maximum weight, not because it is a fragile table.Be sure all screws are as tight as possible, this will insure the stability. Also, play very close attention to the instructions and follow them closely. It is very easy to assemble, but do NOT assume that you won’t need tools to put it together. (PSA: it is not the company’s job to provide you with tools.) You will need a larger Phillips head screwdriver—the smaller ones tend to strip the screw.Yes. It is a small table. You should look at the measurements provided before you buy it instead of complaining once you’ve received the product.Common sense, people.

I don’t purchase
This item is trash it fell apart while putting it together and it was also missing packages of screws. I haven’t returned it yet because I have to late it apart to do so…which will cause more damage. I’m doomed because the base is togther but it’s not sturdy and I don’t have the proper screws to put the table on top of the base. I just want to take a hammer to this table and trash it.. but I want my money back!!!

Just as advertised
This was very easy to assemble. I never do that myself but decided to give it a shot. I had absolutely no problem putting this together on my own. As long as you check the measurements and you're sure this is the size you want and you know what French oak looks like in reality. If you aren't familiar see my up close pic. That's the top surface of this table. You'll see quite a few lines. Lines like these are on every piece of French oak I've ever had. If this is ok with you then you'll be very happy with this coffee table. I have many pieces of furniture that are French oak and every single one of them have lines in it that most people would be unhappy with but that's how it is. So if you're going to be upset about that don't order anything French oak. You get what you pay for and I was extremely happy with this purchase. I've already gotten compliments on it. It's sturdy on its own but I certainly wouldn't sit on it. Great value for the price. Just know what you're buying n you'll be very happy!

Not-so-great-instructions
EDIT: the whole thing fell apart. The top came right off.I just finished putting it together and have two leftover screws, and I know exactly where they’re supposed to go, however, they’re not gonna fit. I am still not entirely sure if this is my issue or the table’s issue. I took it apart twice and started over, looking very carefully at the not so helpful, instructional diagrams. I ended up giving up. It is put together, it seems sturdy enough, but I feel like it should not have taken me two hours to do. On the plus side, it is exactly as pictured, and, like I said, it seems sturdy enough for having two leftover screws. It will suit my needs. And for the price, I’m happy enough. Just really tired now.

This is not meant to be a heavy duty table
This was not the easiest to assemble. The fiberboard is quite thin and damages easily. But its cute when its set up. I'm using it as a feeding station for my cat so my small dog can't get at her food. We will see how it holds up.. It really is pretty for the price..

Worst waste of money 💰
This product was completely misleading. The pictures on the side that make it look like an X doesn't show it will not set evenly on the floor as the bottom of the Xs are not flat. The second shelf I tried to show in the picture looks like an amateur or someone whom has never used a saw as it was completely crooked throwing the table off balance and lastly I was not expecting it to be child height it's so close to the floor it's pointless. I attached pictures so others could be warned the saying "you get what you pay for " definitely stands true on this coffee table. If you're a college student just trying to make do or maybe your 1st apartment and you are trying to make do then sure otherwise please spend a lil more and get something that actually looks like an adult might own/purchase. Picked it up today to vacuum and the entire top piece fell apart in my hands. Unfortunately I have already thrown away the box or I would return it but I can't stand clutter and immediately tossed the box once I took it out and made sure all pieces were included.

100% recommended to friends and family
This coffee table is my first purchase for my apartment, and I did love it. It eventually got too old. I had to get rid of it, but it was a good purchase. Love it.

titebond is your friend, this company is not.
I read the reviews, saw it said holes didn't line up, but it's the poor instructions for something simple. The ad should state it only holds 15 pounds, very deceptive. The fake wood is as cheap as I have seen, the screws won't hold for long as there just is no meat there to hold onto. with every connection I used titebond woodglue, I build unique musical instruments and use this a lot When I went to put the top on some holes were 3" off, no biggie, got a workshop but again, extremely poor quality, should not be sold, just fills landfills.I am keeping it because believe or not it's going in my recording studio in a corner, I'm gonna reengineer it anyhow, but I thought I would share my thoughts. If you want a coffee table that's gonna last you, go to some yard sales, this isn't it, pure junk....if you want something to build off of, the price wasn't bad so it got a second star from me just for that.15lbs, there are cats that weigh more than 15lbs, ridiculous.
