My biggest problem with budget scales that you can get for the kitchen is the sensor fatigue, lack of resolution, and huge hysteresis of the device. This scale handles all of that very well. You can tare the scale with a bowl on top of it, and as you add ingredients in a very small amount the weight display updates without being jumpy. Many times the budget scales when you add salt to your recipe for bread, the display updates jump by large numbers. When you take some ingredients out and put them back in, you notice you don't have the same weight displayed on the readout as you did before. This scale doesn't have these types of problems. I would highly recommend this scale to anyone who needs precision in their kitchen. Forget those cheap flat digital scales you can get for under 50 dollars. You'll notice that these are highly inaccurate. For my pizza and bread-baking recipes, this scale is outstanding. I used the cheap 25-dollar one and I've noticed that while adding salt the screen didn't update, so I kept on adding more salt and when it finally did, it was too much. You will not have a bad experience with this scale. I'm very with my purchase.

Good accuracy and repeatability. Easy calibration. One feature I never thought of having is the counting mode. Place 10, 20, 50, or 100 items that need to be counted in a container on the scale that has been tared, press the count mode, and when the number matching the number in the container shows up, press the button again. With 20 items in the container and 20 showing on the screen, you're set. Take one item at a time out and the scale will reflect the correct number on the screen. Counting nuts, bolts, washers, beads, buttons (so long as they are identical), beans, nails, whatever. Makes counting bulk items into smaller containers a breeze.

This is a fantastic scale for home kitchen use! You can measure just a few grams of seasonings, or measure all the ingredients for 4 loaves of bread at one time. (Including the mixer bowl)Don't waste your money on cheaper, less accurate scales. This one may be a bit bulkier, but that gets you a much higher quality tool. This model reaches a stable point faster than other similar scales I've tried, which speeds up getting to the weight you're looking for.Most of the cheap kitchen scales will not even register small additions, and will give you different numbers if you remove the bowl and put it back on the scale. This scale gives you consistent results, and calibrates easily.The rechargeable battery lasts a very long time, and the display stays on until you turn it off. No need to worry about having to start over because the scale turned off!

This is a great little scale. Does everything you would ever need it to do. Testing with calibration weights and the scale is right on the dot! I have worked with Satorius scales before, and this one does the job as good as they did. Not as touchy.

It measures grams great. Seems to be accurate and I like the weight that comes with it so I can calibrate it. I am still learning it and have not figured out how to switch it to ounces which I need it to do sometimes. I watched the videos and still have not been able to do it. So I used it to measure grams and no issues there.

I have had all manner of scales for years, analog!! and of course various digital scales but the accuracy of those came to the fore when we started making our own pizza dough and a recipe no longer called for a tsp or 2 but 2.4g! I tried a couple of other cheaper scales with the 2 separate sections where 1 weighs heavier weights and the other weighs the small quantity but the quality just wasn't there in the units I bought. So I decided to try this scale. I really like that it has very bright, large and visible numbers. I particularly love that I can put on a bowl and set the scale to zero and then add a kilo of flour and then 2.4g of yeast and measure that with really solid accuracy and the change in weight is consistent and doesn't jump. I have 2 small complaints so far and that is the ugly massive logo on the side of the unit AND that I have to buy a special battery in order to use the unit without having it plugged in. Not big enough to drop a star but I'm probably at a 4.6 - 4.7 vs a full on 5. I have a battery on order for the unit and look forward to trying it with a little more mobility. Battery according to the website is "7.4V 2P lithium battery with XH2.54 2P Plug-in".

It is a display that moves from one topic to another on its own, flashing useless mystery information at you while refusing to give you necessary function such as switch from POUNDS TO OUNCES.I AM SERIOUS SCIENTIFIC USER, AFTER 60 MINUTES CANNOT GET IT TO CHANGE INTO POUNDS AND OUNCES. READ OWNER'S MANUAL CAREFULLY, IT IS FAR TOO SHORT AND IT SAYS NOTHING ABOUT POUNDS AND OUNCES. YOU WILL NEVERR GET IT TO READ POUNDS AND OUNCES AND IF I WASTE ONE WHOLE HOUR TRYING WHO NEEDS THIS, IT IS BAD DESIGN.WASTED MY WHOLE $ 130 I CANNOT USE IT. SO, WILL I RETURN IT ????? NO !!!
