Dummy proof PLUG & PLAY device
If you have a laptop with USB (not USBc / 3.0) and internet this device is flawless for what it does/costs. Only wish was that it could output a 2 camera split screen. Seems that should be simple, but instead the 2 cam function is an a/b output. Alas.

Works like a dream easy to use and setup
Works like a dream easy to use and setup. Only wish is that i could select the Audio level monitors for a specific View and not on all 4

Died after a couple of weeks
I upgraded to this from the 1080p version, since I now need 4K support. Unfortunately, it's died after just a couple of weeks, but they have them in stock at a "bricks and mortar" store near me so I'll just pick another one up from there (need it in a hurry!) Aside from that "slight issue", it didn't seem to work very well in 1080p output mode - the labels & audio meters were all "low res" on my 1080p monitor. Works fine in 4K though. That said, it was a pain in the neck to get set up on my network, and the very old-fashioned mini USB port (for set up) is NOT a welcome addition to my system in 2023!!! Come on, Blackmagic, most of us have moved on since 2001. The 1080p version is up to date, tech-wise (USB-C) but this 4K version is looking rather dated now. At LEAST include the required cable in the package if you're going to use a connector/cable that many people won't have lying around!! In short, as with most Blackmagic products, it's not perfect, but overall it's fine, and there aren't really any/many alternatives on the market. Hopefully the next one will last longer than two weeks 🙏

Great for showing quad display on one monitor
Great for showing quad display on one monitor. HD-SDI or HDMI. Wish you could adjust sizes for fewer inputs.

Great quad split
Works and looks great. We put the units on the network, so we can easily change labels. No GPI Talleys,

Five Stars
Awesome multi-viewer.

Good, but missing a few key features.
It works well, but it (1) has a processing delay of at least a few frames, and (2) doesn't support tally with the ATEM switchers like the 16-channel version does, so there's no easy way to use this effectively as a replacement multi-viewer for small switcher setups with just 2-3 cameras.I also can't get it to output 1080i on the HDMI output. It seems to always want to output a progressive signal on HDMI. The SDI does support 1080i, though. It also seems like they could have had it output the real quad view of the source video on the smart panel, but it just shows a 2x2 grid with the input numbers... no video is displayed at all. Doesn't affect functionality much, but it is worth noting.

Works great! Very economical for what it does. Nice features.
Worked out of the box. Like the video loop-throughs.
