This is a must have at my house!
I recently purchased the FOSSIL POWER Bentonite Clay Food Grade Powder 2lb bag, and I’ve been thoroughly impressed with its quality and versatility. As someone who values natural, high-quality products for both skincare and wellness, this bentonite clay has quickly become a staple in my routine.Quality and Purity: The product is marketed as 100% pure sodium bentonite clay, and it certainly feels & smells authentic. It’s finely milled, smooth, and free from any noticeable impurities, which is critical for a food-grade product. Knowing it’s responsibly sourced and packaged in the USA gives me confidence in its quality. The resealable bag is a thoughtful touch, keeping the clay fresh and free from moisture, which is especially handy for long-term storage.Versatility: This clay is incredibly versatile. I’ve used it for DIY facial masks, toothpaste, and even as a detox bath soak. For facials, I followed the instructions to mix 3 parts water (or apple cider vinegar) to 1 part clay, applied it for 15-20 minutes, and rinsed it off with warm water. My skin felt noticeably cleaner, smoother, and less oily after just one use. It’s particularly great for tackling clogged pores and giving my complexion a refreshed look.I also tried it as a toothpaste by mixing a small amount with water and a drop of peppermint oil. It left my teeth feeling clean without the harsh abrasiveness of some commercial toothpastes. While I haven’t used it internally (as the packaging advises against ingestion for this specific product), I appreciate that it’s food-grade, which speaks to its purity for external uses.Ease of Use: The instructions provided are clear and straightforward, making it easy for beginners to use. Whether for skin, hair, or other applications, the clay mixes well and applies smoothly. For sensitive skin or hair, the recommendation to leave it on for only 5 minutes is helpful to avoid irritation. Overall: I highly recommend the FOSSIL POWER Bentonite Clay Food Grade Powder 2lb bag for anyone looking to incorporate a natural, multi-purpose product into their wellness or skincare routine. It’s pure, effective, and budget-friendly, with a wide range of uses that make it a great addition to any household. Whether you’re using it for detox, skincare, or DIY projects, it delivers on its promises. I’ll definitely be repurchasing!

Many Healing Properties
The media could not be loaded. I use this clay for a variety of things such as detox, insect bites, and facial masks. There are claims that Bentonite clay is helpful in detoxification from within, working as a binder to pull out toxins. One of my kids brought home Pinworms that ended up circulating through our house for months. Eventually, we were all able to clear them with the help of Bentonite Clay, PinRx, and Black Walnut and Wormood. The plan was to k;ll/immobilize the parasites with PinRx and Black Walnut, then remove them along with their toxins using a binder (bentonite clay). Even though we are parasite free, I still occasionally like to include it for a week at a time to detox. When I drink it, I add a heaping teaspoon into a full Nutribullet cup of water (I think it’s 24oz). I find this ratio works best for me. If you don’t like the taste, try squeezing fresh lemon into your drink. Immediately after pouring the clay into the water, it forms a clumps (some float and some sink to the bottom). I will soak it for an hour to let the clumps fully dissolve into the water, stirring occasionally. After an hour the clumps will have dissolved, but I do still notice some sediment left at the bottom. I also use this clay to relieve insect bites. We have fire ants and they bite our feet when barefoot in the yard. Sometimes the bites can become extremely swollen, warm to the touch, and itchy. I find that making a thick paste and applying directly to the area instantly cools and soothes the bite. I reapply as often as necessary and it brings down the swelling. Not completely, but significantly less. The clay also works wonderfully for face masks; leaving my skin feeling super exfoliated and smooth. It creates a pulsing feeling when it’s drying. Supposedly, it’s pulling impurities to the surface? After washing and drying my face, I follow up with castor oil or coconut oil to rehydrate the skin. This stuff really is great! I try to take a natural approach to everything as a first line of defense and I’m very happy with the outcomes.!! I would also like to add: When using bentonite clay, DO NOT use any metal utensils, straws, or bowls as this can disrupt the charge of the clay !!
