I normally buy the serenity ultimate, amazon just switched to this. how do the two absorbencies compare? the former shows 5 of 5 dots, this shows #5.

The picture shown here is still Ultimate pads, just 3 less in the package. Personally, I have found that Ultimate is still excellent, but I also like the Overnite pads and switch back and forth between the two. The Overnite pads have an extra wide end that I put to the back to give my poor butt some padding as I have to sit more now than before due to an injury. I hope I have understood your question and my answer is helpful.

Confused. What is the total quantity in: "33 count (pack of 3)"? Does this total 99 pads or 3 packs of 11 pads for a charge of $28.19?

I usually get "packs of". So, you should get 3 packages and each package should have 33 Pads. Total of 99.

Does anyone know what the difference in length is between long and regular? They are out of long.

Regarding the question about the length of "regular" pads... the photos shown are of two very different types. The Tena Ultimates, Maximum, (6 teardrops on the package) is a 13-1/2 inch long pad. Same width top to bottom. It is Not the "Long" pad. That is a different item. The items shown being compared are actually an Ultimate pad and an OVERNIGHT pad. The overnight pad is longer, wider, with a much wider back end.

Are the Tena Ultimate pads unsented?

Yes. The Tena Ultimate pads are not scented. That's another reason I like them so much. These are good quality comfortable pads with good odor control.

Tena has given me freedom and confidence! /Why did I not find this product sooner?

Tena products have so improved my determination to manage incontinence issues from a TBI (traumatic brain injury) resulting in a Neurogenic Bladder. This nerve damage leads to issues with storing or releasing urine, resulting in symptoms of urinary incontinence.Tena pads for daytime and nighttime briefs offer improved confidence. They are much more comfortable, softer and more absorbent than other brands. The hold capacity is much better therefore providing the best protection level. Fit is 'gentler' , not causing chafe due to excess width, and they stay in place. My urologist, shortly after the accident, recommended using a heavy pad with the briefs for night time. Other products did not work well together, but putting a Tena pad on a brief at night gets me through the night . These issues are difficult , not only to deal with but also to talk about. Tena has given me freedom and confidence!

Currently we've settled on TENA as the favorite for absorbency and comfort . . . and I like the competitive price. These are the best incontinence pads. I finally convinced my 88 year old mom to buy incontinence pads instead of menstrual pads knowing they hold more liquid. She loves these pads. She feels confident she won’t leak all over the place now.They are quite large and long but just what Mom needed.(I buy the shorter less thick version for myself) . We are buying these on a regular basis. Breathability and softness was also very important and these are great that way.
