Love our Bike rack, a Küat Sherpa 2.0. When we purchased our new 2021 Chevrolet Tahoe, it wasn't until the warmer weather that we took out our bikes and realized that we couldn't use our hatch with the bikes reclined on the rack. (The hatch would open but hit the handle bar) I was so sad because being a mom and pulling a bike cart, there is always so much to do and so many steps, that it is easy to forget something, or to put something away, that aspect of the bike rack was what made loading unloading so easy! So after using a 10" extension I bought from harbor freight, I realized it was not stable in my standards. I was sad that I couldn't fully enjoy my Küat Rack after getting the new suv. I did my research and found the Küat Hi-Lo 10" Extension!! Yay! Problem solved! This is nice because it lets you tighten down the extension similar to how the rack tightens down to the hitch! Also the new lock is black and has a cap on it. Very happy with Küat products. My only disappointment was that the extension was scuffed up a bit on topLike it had been sliding around in the box. Wouldn't have been disappointed about that if it was any other side but the top. But because it is a bike rack and it fixed my issue I am okay with the blemishes.Küat bike racks are amazing love their products and quality ease is always top notch. This is a very sturdy product! I needed this High low extension in order to clear the 37 inch tire that is on my rear bumper for my JL wrangler. Works exactly as described. I like how it tightens into the hitch so there’s no rattle.

Nice length and great quality from Kuat. Love the ability to tighten internally to prevent any wobbling.Allows me to use my Kuat rack with the big spare tire on my Raptor.

Apart from the price, there is nothing wrong with the extension itself - the price is a bit steep for a piece of metal, but I guess it comes with the brand name.It is very sturdy, sits well in the hitch and the extra stabilization module helps prevent any wobble during transport. The added bonus is that it sits really well with my eTron as shown in the attached photos) and prevents damage to the hatch in case it gets open. No wobble with two bikes on the carrier, no issues putting the carrier into the extension. Worth the money, just wish it was a bit less expensive for what it is.
