It is always wise to top off new batteries. they lose some charge in storage before they sell. By doing so it " trains " your battery into having a smoother future charge and discharge.

Q: Will this battery replace a yuasa np7-12fr 7.0 ah sealed lead-acid battery?

The "FR" means flame retardant. Unless you have a special application, the regular battery without the FR should be fine. Same size. Same voltage. Same capacity.

Q: may we use this to replace our Battery backup Battery?

It depends on size, voltage, and terminals. I used it as an exact fit for my home alarm battery backup.
